Allure box for December is really good. It's another collab. They done this with Anastiasia Beverly Hills with the owner Anastasia Soare on the pamphlet. As you know I've discussed ABH products many times, they recently have started a new line or "brand within the brand" which is the Norvina line, who is Anastasia's daughter. I definitely enjoy 80% of their products there have been some flops for me but in general I've always been a fan. So, seeing this collab made me very happy. Although I have several of the products, that doesn't mean it's not a good box. Alright so let's start with all the ABH products.
The gold standard of their brand and the foundation of their brand is their brow products. I could totally nerd out and give you a lot of backstory and history about the brand but I won't. So you get a travel size of the clear brow gel that pretty much every makeup lover either loves or has used several times. It is one of the more potent brow gels. It's definitely more of a "hairspray" effect in regards to how well it keeps the brow hairs in place. Solid product. I don't have the most unruly brows but I will say that a cleaned up brow space from sparse hairs or longer hairs, and only using brow gel to just give it some structure is a nice look. So I always have tweezers and a brow gel (usually this one) is in my bag for when I'm in a pinch and need to pull myself together. Next up is a full size of one of their liquid lipsticks that I didn't have actually. I really love their liquid lipsticks. I have more than 10 probably. The few times that I do wedding or event makeup for someone, which is rare, I normally use their liquid lipstick. The shade they sent is Bohemian. It's a very nice deep muted red, doesn't really read like a "red" to me though, it gives me a "plum-y red" vibe. It's pretty dark which is my jam but definitely not a neutral. I'm actually surprised they went with this color. Normally they go with the best selling shades that are neutral. So this is my favorite product in the box. The last ABH product is the Moonchild highlighting palette. I have this palette. It was released a couple years ago. It's when holographic styled highlighters were super popular. This is more wearable than those but it's still going to be different for a lot of people. It's a great way to experiment with different hues in highlighting than the standard silver/gold/rose gold/champagne. So to have a full sized palette is amazing. Another product is First Aid Beauty Coconut Smoothie Primer. I have this. You know I love it. It's also full sized. It's a great hydrating primer. FAB is probably top 3 favorite skincare brands for me. They really have a good price point and good reputation. I like pretty much all their products that I've tried. I think it's incredible that this made it into the box. Lastly, OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray. This is a travel size at 1.4 oz. I don't use a lot of hair products but I do use this one. I have went through quite a few and it takes a while for me to actually go through them since in general I don't use them very much but this is my pick any day of the week. I like the brand in general. Again, I like this brands story as well. I really admire the owner. I enjoy the expansion that they've done kinda slowly when compared to other brands and how often they release new products (ABH included). They're still like a baby in the industry though. Really happy to see this in there. So that's all the products in the box. Keep in mind that a lot of times there are coupons or promo codes in your pamphlet that explains the products to you and who picked them. This was sent to me as all the Allure boxes that I talk about are. I am not asked to post them or review them, I just like keeping up with them.
