Hello guys, I hope you're having a killer time kicking off the new year. Yes, this post will be about the Allure Beauty Box for January. Yes. you will be sorry you missed it. Yes, it tops all the other boxes so far. I thought the last one was the best.....no this one. Until they top this box, which I'm sure will happen. This box is worth around $140 you're getting two unreleased skincare products in it that won't be out until March...I think. It's epic. Now, before I go into the products and all that jazz. Let me address some things. It was made very apparent on my last Allure post on my Instagram, which was the Nikki Tutorials box, that people were unhappy, not just unhappy but livid. It got to the point where I just screen shot all the comments, shared them with my PR person to give to Allure and shut the comments off. Which is why the comments will not be on this one either. I will however give you a phone number for Allure's customer service because in my experience when dealing with companies especially big ones a DM or an email usually doesn't work. You need to call. My friend called when she didn't want the KVD box, it was taken care of in about 5 minutes. So I will leave that down below for you. It's not a number I've been given it's simply the number I found on the link to sign up. It's public information. Also, let me reiterate that I have no control over shipping, refunds, customer service, wrong boxes, or anything to do with the business side, putting together products for the box, and your money when it comes to these. They send me the box. I don't have to review it, post it or talk about it. There have been some that I've chosen not to talk about. I get my box sometimes at the very end of the month, sometimes I get it around the 15th, sometimes I get it early. That is all the information I have as far as what I know about the box other than what mine has inside. So I will disable comments just because I'm not going into 2019 with those types of comments, and to be clear not all were directed at me people were genuinely upset and I guess my post was the sounding board. I will include ways for you to contact them though. Hopefully, that will help because that is all I know to do at this point.
So for January the box is a special gift to thank everyone who has been so patient and kind throughout getting the box going and your support and excitement. It's still pretty new to them and in the world of "Subscription boxes". I am so excited I can't stand it. I'll go ahead and tell you why. In each box you will get the NEW *UNRELEASED* Sunday Riley CEO Oil full size! You also get their new A+ Retinol 8ml which I've already seen demo'd and it's a pump action travel size that I'm very excited to try. I've been emailing Sunday Riley and everything wanting to know when the new products especially the oil, would be released because I have every oil they've put out except "Artemis" which was discontinued and a very sore subject for me lol. Pretty sure I heard that these don't release until March. That's right March. You'll also get a full size Mally Eyeshadow stick in Burnished Bronze. It looks lovely. It's a quick look and easy to keep in your bag, or a great cream base for shadows. Reminds you a little of the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks in finish and color. You'll get a OUAI Hair and Body Scrub. I'm very excited about this especially because one of my favorite shampoo's ever is a sea salt scrub shampoo from LUSH called "Big" it gives crazy volume. I've been using it for more than 5 years. I only use it when I'm getting ready for a date or needed a no fail good hair day. I felt like it really scrubbed the scalp and exfoliated the product build up right off of there. It was definitely something weird at first but I hope this is similar but even if it isn't I'll gladly give it a go as a good body scrub. I am a big fan of the OUAI products in general so I think this will be something I use. You get a full size Doucce Relentless Matte Lip Crayon in Winterberry. Which is a standard red but not super bright or "cherry red". It's a lip crayon which is a lot like Nudestix crayons and the Vasanti lip crayon. You will either get the Amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask or Beauty Blender Micro Mini. I prefer the Amika Nourishing Mask because that is the conditioning mask that I stand by for ever and ever, amen. I don't know how many tubs I've bought of it and went through but it is beyond helpful to my long hair. Micro Mini beauty blenders I just don't use but as you know, I'm not big on beauty sponges most of the time. As an extra gift, every box should contain NCLA Call My Agent Polish (full size). I believe I've tried their nail polish before. I can't quite remember but I'm a sucker for a red nail so I have high hopes for it. Again it's a perfect winter red. Like rich apple red not bright summery red. So in total you're getting 7 products. 5 of those being full size. 1 of those being a bonus product. I will leave the link to sign up if you want to get your box. (It is an affiliate link) It's $10 for your first box. You can cancel at anytime according to the FAQ section which I will also link here because it has a lot of information like when you should receive your box, what day do you have to notify them during the month if you're cancelling your subscription in order not to get the next box, how to add another standalone box if you want a second box for a certain month, etc. As promised ways to contact Allure: email: [email protected] call: 800-274-1603 for customer service You can also find both of those on the website.
