As the last couple of months, I'm going to break down the Allure Beauty Box for September. This is a monthly box with subscription. You can cancel anytime. It's always got at least 1 full size product in it. The links in here will be my affiliate links that take you to the sign up sheet. You will get your first box for $10 and after that it will be $15. This is the best subscription box I've had thus far. I've tried plenty. This months box is extra special thought because it has the Allure Best Of Beauty Award Winners in here.
Let's get into shall we?
First off there will be some boxes that have what I have or they have something different which I love. Obviously you can stuff all the Beauty Award Winners in one box. I'll let you know if theres an alternative product to the one I got in mine.
Starting off with what I'm most excited about. MAC full size lipstick. I was so excited to see MAC in this box! The shade I got was Lustering, the alternative shades in other boxes are Ruby Woo. I'm so happy that MAC added to the box this year. They are cult favorite lipsticks.
Next is Sukari Babyfacial from Drunk Elephant. I have a whole brand over view of Drunk Elephant where I discuss their products one by one. This is something I have and also use. It's a weekly treatment that is 25% AHA and 2% BHA. I tend to use it if I've been slacking in my exfoliation and I notice my skin feels rough or has a lot of texture. I also use it when I've testing new products that weren't up to par really with what I'm use to as far as exfoliation. It's also just a nice product to have on hand. This is 15ml which is a pretty good size deluxe size. I would say it's actually travel size rather than sample size. If you didn't get this product then you would get the Lala Retro Whipped Cream from Drunk Elephant which is another really good product by them.
Moving along we have IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel. It's 15ml as well. For my long hair I don't know how much use I'd get out of it but I've seen this everywhere. People tend to really like it. So I'll give it a go but probably just on the ends until I see what it does. If you didn't get this you would get the Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast which I do have and love.
There are two Tarte products in here. I'm super excited because it's lash glue and a pair of their cruelty free lashes. I wear lashes a lot and I where them constantly with my Halloween looks. The style I have is Center of Attention. They're a little more dramatic than what I've been going for lately but like I said I use lashes a ton for Halloween so they'll be put to good use. If you didn't get this style you would've gotten Girl Boss which just looking at them online I think I would've preferred those since they're less dramatic but these will be just fine. I've never tried their Lash Glue, which is full size of course, I only use House of Lashes glue usually and in a pinch I use Duo lash glue. I'm excited to try this though and see how it compares.
As always you get a little booklet explaining the products you got and there's exclusive coupon/promo codes for you to different companies mentioned. Also apparently you can refer a friend at allure.com/friends and get a free full size mascara in your next box. So that's pretty cool. To give you an idea of how much this box might be worth, the lashes alone are $12, the lash glue is $9, and the MAC lipstick is $18.50. Those are all full sized. So the box is already triple what your box costs. The Baby Facial is typically sold as 50ml for $80 and this one is 15ml so it's a little over a third of product which would put it roughly around $24 if my math is right. The IGK is $29 for a full size which is 5 oz and this is .05. So it's the real sample size in here in my eyes.
I'm going to link my affiliate code here. It's already linked at the beginning.
I'm a makeup and skincare lover. I have always enjoyed creating looks but I love to help people with product knowledge and application even more. I've been able to do these things because God has seen fit to bless me with the opportunity.
