Allure Beauty Box: September 2019

​This month's Allure box is the Best of Beauty Award Winners. So let's get into it.

​Firstly there is a pretty good travel size of the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. You already know how I feel about the powder, it's not my favorite. However, it is a cult favorite and works for many people.

Next up we have the full size of the Ciate London Dewy Stix Luminous Highlighting Balm in Gleam. This is really beautiful. It's normally $26, mind you an Allure Box is $10 for your first box and $15 after that. 

There's a hair duo from NatureLab, it's the Perfect Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner. I've not tried this brand at all. The regular size bottles of these look so cool. You can get them on Amazon and apparently they're only $14 each, which isn't bad in my opinion.

La Roche-Posay Lipikar Eczema Soothing Relief Cream. I'm excited to try this. My dad has eczema and I think I'm starting to get it on my hands. You can use this on hands, body, and face. It sometimes itches like crazy and other times the skin feels tender. So I've been trying this to see if it will help and I might possibly pick up a full size for my dad and one for me.

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub. I tend to stay away from physical exfoliators but I think I will give this a try. It was picked for the fact that it's not overly abrasive on sensitive skin. It's a very fine texture instead of chunky. It's clay, walnut shell powder, and aloe to then soothe the skin. I'd like to see what it can do. It might be handy while I'm trying to get ALL the glue, paint, and makeup off my face for my Halloween looks.

There was no clear makeup bag this time, it came in a sleek white matte box in the style of the original red boxes. The pamplet is in there to discuss all the products and promo/discount codes.
