I have been trying for MONTHS to get my hands on a Makeup Forever empty palette. They are always sold out on Sephora. So I finally got mine from Frends Beauty (you may have to be a member to get it but it's free to sign up and you get a 10% discount for being a member anyway so it's a win win). Because I love Makeup Geek and Anastasia single shadows so much I pretty much can't have enough magnetized palettes. I've had my Z Palette for a while, which I also bought from Frends, and I really do love it. It's sturdy, it's cute, you can see what's in it........ but it's $20 for an empty palette. Am I the only one that didn't care for that? So when I seen people using the MUFE one I looked it up and it was $14. Yea $14. Like I said it's sold out all the time. This review is gonna be easy and fast. Z Palette holds 27 shadows MUFE holds 32 shadows Shadows that are the size of like standard shadows. I know that Makeup Forever single shadows are quite a bit bigger. This palette is sleek, black, and metal. It has foam piece in it to protect the shadows but I took it out cause it was annoying me. It also comes with a clear protector sheet as well that you can also remove. Like I said this holds 32 standard size shadows. Which is 5 more than the large Z Palette. However, you can't see whats in here until you open it. Which is fine for me right now cause it holds all my Makeup Geek and Anastasia Beverly Hills shadows pretty much, so it's my "go to" palette. Later on I may have to label it. Z Palette I still love and use, it only holds 27 shadows but I use mine for blush and face powders now. Like MAC pro pans, or depotted blushes, and some ABH highlight and contour powders. So it's still in good use. What I love about Z Palettes are the fact that they are so cute, come in different sizes, colors, and patterns, and you can see through the top so you always know what you're grabbing.
If you were starting out and actually have a lot of shadows I would get the MUFE metal palette only because it holds more and it's cheaper. However if you want to display your palettes or just like cute things than splurge and get the Z Palette they are both great and work the same.

So for a while I've been following Norvina on Instagram. She's not only good at makeup as well as the daughter of Anastasia Beverly Hills but she's basically the one that comes up with, approves, etc all their company's products aside from brows. I also love her style as far as hair, and clothes. She mentioned this company a few months back called Time Los Angeles. She had this really cute shirt that said Born To Blend or something. I went and checked it out and the price was really good. Like $24 for the shirt she showed. They do alot of black apparel but also some white. Not very many other colors. They are well noted for their phone cases and their "mean mua" shirts that say "You Can't Blend With Us". Super cute. If you can't tell everything is makeup related. They have tanks, slouchy tops, tees, bottoms, decor, accessories, so on so forth. They just done a sale though where the site was 20% off your purchase. So I placed an order because the prices were reasonable anyway and 20% off is just an added bonus. It's hard for me to review clothing. It's cut and dried to me. It either works for you or it doesn't. So I got a long sleeve off the shoulder tee and then a drapey/off the shoulder short sleeve tee that is probably one of their more popular styles. The long sleeve was $20 and the short sleeve was $17. Those are regular prices not after the 20% off discount. So not bad at all. I got a size up in both things, I like to have stuff a little more on the baggy side and it's better to have it too big than a little too snug, in my opinion. They go up to a 2X I believe so that's great. The material is thin so at first it was a little clingy on the arms and then it stretched out and was fine. In the picture above I'm wearing the "daily routine" tee. I like wearing it off the shoulder it doesn't always want to stay that way though. It still fits and feels good. Like I could sleep in it. The long sleeve was hard to wear off the shoulder and the forearms were kinda tight where the rest of it fit baggy. I don't care though it's still very comfy and I think it's super cute. I got a lot of weird looks wearing it running errands. No I don't have a black soul, it's just sarcasm people. I'm still a nice person ( I think). It's the thing I love most about the company is how edgy they are and a little on the dark side. I'm just thoroughly impressed and I love that everything is makeup related.
They have candles that I really want and I would like a phone case as well. Everything is made once you've ordered, so you do have to wait a while, I waited a week or more for mine to ship. Granted they were in the middle of a big sale though. The girl who created this is fantastic at makeup as well. So it was created by a genuine makeup lover which I appreciate. Follow them on instagram (@timelosangeles) and follow me as well (@lovemascara). Give them a look. Check out their site, I'm seriously debating ordering a phone case as soon as I'm done with this post. The Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) Artist Palette has been out for a little bit now, and I finally decided to buy it. As you know I love color and seeing as how this is full of color it's destined to be with me. The packaging is so cute as well. It's $30 which is cheaper than most palettes. I bought mine from Sephora. If you have a pro membership with ABH it doesn't work on this palette. You get 12 shades and a dual sided brush. This is actually really nice quality. You get 5 matte shades two of which are a part of the Velvet Line (Dusty Rose and Buttery) and then Coal, Blue Velvet, and Phresh are all matte. You get two shades that are glittery Unicorn and Baby I'm a Star and the rest are satin/shimmer finish. The palette is mostly really good quality. Some shades I found didn't swatch the best but as far as applying them I have no complaints.
I went to go visit my best friend Faith and talked her into being my model for my Bridal Series. She's the quintessential "blonde bombshell" so we did a very glamourous look. I got the new Urban Decay lip primer because A) it's supposed to be amazing and 2) I didn't have a lip primer. It's .10oz and $16 at Sephora. So this product is supposed to: Prevent feathering Correct Mistakes Fill in lines Make lip color last for 8hrs. This set of pictures is Testing out the theory of filling in fine lines, anti feathering, and help cleaning up mistakes. I will say that it does prevent feathering and helps the lipstick stay in place and helps correct mistakes during application. This is the true test. I used a lipstick that was just a regular lipstick not matte not extremely creamy. It was Gerard Cosmetics Rodeo Drive. I do like that the lip primer made it look smoother. However as you can see it didn't last 8 hours. Maybe if you didn't eat or drink or let anything touch your mouth it could possible but seeing as how I had to eat that wasn't the case. The 1:48 picture is right after I ate lunch. I drank from a straw and ate popcorn chicken. I re applied my lipstick and didn't eat anything else the rest of the day and at 6pm it was basically all gone. Therefore as far as keeping a regular lipstick on I don't think it's gonna happen. Maybe like a matte lipstick or something you might get longer wear with it. I do really like this I'm not bashing it and I didn't buy it so that my lipstick would "last 8 hrs" I genuinely wanted a lip primer and I like how this works. It's completely clear and it doesn't feel tacky or roll up or crumble it feels fine a little waxy maybe but nothing bad. If you want a lip primer I would look into it. If you don't feel like you need one or don't want it unless it's less than amazing and keeps you lipstick on all day you may want to do some more research. I think you would get 3-4hrs wear tops out of it. I thought that as an update on all the things I've bought it might be fun to talk about the things I ended up loving and the one's that were not as impressive. I'm not gonna ramble to lets get into it.
So that's it. Not trying to be negative at all just because I don't like something doesn't mean it's bad it's just not what I wanted or what I like. So don't get upset if I dont like something you do, it's not a big deal. Use what you like and what works for you. In case you are interested, my favorite lash brand by far, Lena Lashes is having a MAJOR sale. If you purchase two pairs of lashes use code "Tina" and get 50% off your total, next day shipping upgrade, AND a FREE pair of Tina style lashes. This is an insane deal. I'm not sure how long it lasts and I know that some of the styles are close to selling out. I've ordered the Sophia and Naomi lashes this time but I put together some of the styles I already had to give you an idea what they look like. I always recommend Bianca and Bisera lashes first off. These lashes can be worn around 20+ times and they're amazing. Follow them on instagram (@lashesbylena) and sign up for their emails to get the heads up on their sales (which they do often). As long as your following them you might as well follow me too (@lovemascara) to see all my latest looks, and updates on blog posts or good sales you should know about.
