Biossance The Revitalizer

Alright folks, the time has come for me to tell you about a new skincare item that's changing the game. I was contacted about a month ago to try this new patented, vegan, dermatologist tested facial moisturizer that just launched in June of this year. I was on board right off the bat. It was such a cool concept and it was something that I had never heard of or tried. It peaked my interest to say the least. It's from the company Biossance and the product is The Revitalizer.

The Revitalizer is a facial moisturizer that is "100% Neossance Squalane Drops". Squalene is a moisturizer found in our skin that can stop producing by your 20's and is one of the worlds leading emollients. This moisturizer "patented plant-derived" Neossance Squalane hydrates the skin by using a moisturizer that naturally you already biologically have. Which is their motto "Beauty Is In Our Biology" because it's just improving or restoring what your body naturally produces, or produced, to hydrate the skin.

Here's a few things you need to know:
  • Non-comedogenic (meaning it's not going to cause blackheads)
  • Paraben-free (parabens are synthetic and used as preservatives in cosmetics and aren't always healthy)
  • Fragrance Free (for those of you who have sensitivity to fragrance or just don't like it)
  • Dermatologist Tested
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Vegan
  • Eco-friendly/Sustainable
  • GMO-Free (which means it's not been genetically altered)
  • Gluten-Free (being someone who has suffered from Celiac Disease this means a great deal to me that they went as far as to make this Gluten Free as well)

You can get this on the Biossance website. it's $58 for 1.7 fl oz. A little goes a long way. Use 2-3 drops on clean skin.

It can be used, not just as your all in one facial moisturizer, but also:
  • can be used in addition with other skincare products
  • Spot treatment for particularly dry patches
  • can be used on your hair for shine and softness
  • used on hands and cuticles
  • makeup additive or makeup remover
  • Pre/post shave mositurizer
  • After sun hydrator

So here's my thoughts on it. It hydrates better than anything I've ever seen. My skin is so dewy when I use this, but it soaks in and it makes my skin so much softer. I like it better than Argan Oil myself. I've used this on dry areas, my hair, to take makeup off (worked amazing!) and it's done everything it said it would. I have a friend with very sensitive and chapped skin right now and I made her try it because nothing was helping and this did! So if you are someone who has painfully dry skin I recommend this first, above anything else. I've been using it for close to a month I guess and I use it mainly at night so that it absorbs into my skin over night without me putting other things on top of it. I really enjoy it, it's weightless and gives your a silky smooth finish. I have a makeup free day once a week where I just put this on and chill. It makes me look glow-y and healthy. I've used this on my friends dry legs, my mothers hands, I've made everyone try it because the drops are thinner than an oil but absorb quickly and change the look of the skin immediately. When I say that I mean that, when you apply a serum or an oil it absorbs quicker than a lotion normally and can look like nothing even happened, especially if you have dry skin. When this is applied, it absorbs quickly but you're left with that shine and radiance of youthful looking skin. I also love the scientific background this company has and is using. I really really appreciate when someone breaks down the genetics and composition of your body chemistry and lay out and works off that to make a product that's useful to everyone. I also love that they are using feedback from every area like chefs, wellness experts, self love experts and these are the people that are leading what they call "The Embodied Project" and it's all about you, your health, your beauty, your biology. Basically everything you need you already have they're just helping you restore it. It's been a pleasure learning about this company and this product. I recommend you look into it for yourself, statistics don't lie nor do the facts so if you aren't on board yet do some research and you'll soon realize how you can't go wrong with this product.
