Yea I know it's not technically fall, but in my world Sept 1st means it's fall. So when you think of fall you think of plums, warm browns, berry lips, golden tones, etc etc. While I love ALL those colors, I wanted to give you some ideas for fall that are still very much fall but not so typical.

The new-ish trend in makeup (which is actually not new at all) is berry lips. We're a couple months away from fall and honestly plum/mauve colored lips have been relatively popular ever since Kylie Jenner wore Faux and Soar from MAC. So this look below reminds me of fall. I done a low side Chignon hair style to make it very elegant and I paired it with Tulle from Colour Pop which is my new "go to" berry lip. Oh my gosh I love it. I've already got a post about the Colour Pop Liquid Lipsticks. They sold out so fast (they're back in stock now) that I only got four. When they came back in stock I knew I wanted to pick up some fall colors. I got Succulent, Tulle, and Avenue. Avenue is a beautiful dark red. Not burgundy really, a true red. It's supposed to be the dupe for Lime Crime Wicked and ABH Heathers. I really love it. I was afraid I wouldn't but I actually really do. Will be stunning for fall and winter especially Christmas looks. Tulle is my favorite. I love this color so much. It's a beautiful plum/deep mauve color without brown tones that we're seeing so much. I've not seen a dead on dupe for this but Kat Von D Lolita and ABH Veronica are kinda similar. With this one being a little darker I think. This is a popular shade. Another shade that would be a good one to get if you don't like that one would be Bumble. Succulent reminds me of fruit punch or a cherry. It's a very bright red coral color. I think it's really similar to Harlot from OCC. But I think I like Harlot just a little more. I expected this to be a little more electric coral instead of so much red in it. None the less it's very pretty.
Again these are $6 and they shipped within two days of me ordering them. So like I couldn't love Colour Pop enough as is, they make things even better and get my order to me faster. This is not a sponsored post in any way, these are my genuine thoughts and comments and I bought these with my own money. This part of my date night series is what I normally do when going to several family functions and dinners. I think this is perfect if you're just meeting the parents or vice versa or if you're just having to go to a lot of different places and festivities. With Thanksgiving coming up there will be lots of food, so dress comfortably. If you're fall weather can get pretty cold like mine then dress warm. Keep things relatively easy but flattering with both you're makeup and outfit. I'm trying to put together a haul from the VIB sale and just really haven't been feeling good the past few days. I picked up the MAC Cosmetics Holiday Collection pigment set in Pink/Red Set. There are 5 colors in it and they're gorgeous. I wanted the bronze one but they didn't have it but I'm so glad I got this instead. This look is a day-night look or neutral-dramatic if you prefer. The left side is more neutral with no lashes and a more beigey brown lip. The right side is obviously more lashes and a matte dark lip. Happy Veterans Day! My favorite veteran is my Papaw Aaron (what a nice name), he's a WWII Vet, stormed the beaches of Normandy, sniper, machine gun instructor, so on so forth. He often times tells me I'm his greatest friend, always calls me "little'n", tells me he loves me when everyone else just gets "appreciated" lol, and always checks on me to se if I'm feeling ok. He's 94 and probably in better health than me. I love him dearly so today I took him some donuts, his favorite. I didn't get to stay long but I got to bring him dinner last week and shoot with him the week before (and he's a better shot than me). I just wanted to tell you about him for a minute since this day is to honor the ones that have risked and laid down their lives to protect us and our freedom. I'll add a picture of him so you can see just how special he is. Or however it's worded. It's a gradient light to deep warm brown eye. I love this look and I really don't do it very much. I used to do it all the time and then I just felt like I was being too basic. Now I rarely do it, which is sad because it's so classic. Enough chit chat lets get into it. Eyes: God Created Woman palette literally every color except the grey. I start out with a creamy beige color in the first half of the lid. Then a nice medium bronze on the center of the lid. In the outer corner I used the really warm brown glittery shade. The matte dark brown is on the outer corner into the crease. The black glittery color is smudged on the lashline and up some.
