Bringing a Pop of Color to a Neutral Eye

1/26/2016

Picture
Today I'm going to talk about neutral looks and how you can bring a little something extra to them with a pop of color. Whether that be on the lid it self or with your lip color. So I have three. Two of them I've linked videos to that I done for Instagram.
Picture
This look above, I actually seen @wickedbeautification on Instagram do with similar colors. I modified it somewhat to my own vision and used different products. Her's is gorgeous so you should check it out for sure, she's so talented. It had more plum/berry shades in it without the inner corner teal part. Mine is a bit more red brown, oranges and a lighter teal somewhat.

Here's what I used to do mine:
  • ABH shadows in: Red Earth, Bengal, Fresh Peach, Smoke
  • Coastal Scents: Light Tangerine and Dark Mango (lower lash line under Red Earth)
  • ABH Prussian Blue is in the center but what really makes it teal and bright is Sugar Pill Lumi pigment. Lumi is on it's own in the inner corner.
  • Lena Lashes Bianca lashes
My lips are Venom gloss from ABH. Basically this is a halo eye. I find halo looks are the easiest way to give pops of color because they're less structured. Also inner corner pops of color are something to think about, if you want a more structured, dramatic, winged look. So how I accomplish a halo is I work with my lightest color on the biggest blending brush I'm using and as the color gets deeper my brush gets smaller and the color gets lower. I apply the darkest color, in this case being "Smoke", with a pencil brush on the inner and outer part of the lids. The center color I usually always apply with my finger. It works best for some reason. The pigment I apply with a damp stiff brush or flat brush.
Picture
This is a more cool toned brown eye (halo again) which when you add pink over it it tends to look a little purple. I try to keep the brown tone as much as possible so I add in warmer tones to cancel out any purple it's trying to bring out. It has some orange on the lower lash line. I have a video for it here which will take you through the whole "halo" technique I use for all halo looks pretty much. Now you could actually add in much more brown to make this even more neutral. I went in hard with the pink so you may want to do less. The Star Powder pigment brings iridescence, it's not necessarily vital to the look though. You could use the pink shades and just go with a darker pink halo eye which is still beautiful.

Here's what I used:
  • Urban Decay Vice 4 palette: Bitter, Delete, 1985, and Fast-Ball. Flame (lower lash line)
  • Makeup For Ever Star Powder in 944 (center)
  • House of Lashes Smokey Muse lashes

My lipstick is ABH Lovely liquid lipstick.
Picture
This look I really love because it's a warm neutral smokey eye with an ombre lip that has a bright red center. I have a video on how I done my ombre lip here. The eyes can be modified to what ever you want as well as the lips, I just wanted to include a pop of color that wasn't necessarily on the eye.

Here's what I used:
  • ABH Shadows: Party Dress, Henna (titanium finish orange, basically a foiled orange.), Smoke, and Noir. Bengal is in the crease I'm sure but I don't have it listed.
  • Violet Voss Lashes in Dolls Just Wanna Have Fun

Lips are Feminist lip liner from Colour Pop and Atlantic City liquid lipstick from Ofra Cosmetics.

So those are my latest, and best three examples of easy ways to add in color to your makeup. Whether it be daily, or for a special occasion they all would be suitable. My birthday is Friday so I'm thinking the first one with the teal is going to be my birthday look. If I don't find something I like better. Right now though it's my favorite. Also check out my Instagram (@lovemascara) for small tutorial videos every few days. I'm still working through the lighting and angles though so bear with me, I'm trying to better the quality of them.

I'll sign off now and I hope this was helpful, remember to be kind to each other. Spread love not hate. I appreciate you and take care!

Last Minute Gifts/Stocking Stuffers: Beauty and More

12/8/2015

So Christmas is right around the corner, and you've procrastinated in buying presents, or you accidentally forgot someone, or you're nearly done you just need some extra stocking stuffers or something.

I GOT CHU.

This post is going to be beauty and other things combined. So not just makeup but also some really cool gifts, or accessories that I like and love getting as gifts.

Starting with skincare:
  • Korres Sleeping Beauties Over Night Treatment Trios. $42 at Sephora. This is in the sale section so I'd get it quickly. It has the Korres Greek Yogurt, which everyone and their uncle talks about. It has Wild Rose Sleeping Facial, which I love the Rose line so that was 2 out of 3 that I knew I would use. It also has Black Pine moisturizer, I've not used this yet. The first two are "sleeping facials" I think, and then Black Pine is a night time moisturizer. Korres has a good name in skin care so I never worry about anything I get from them. This might be a little overwhelming for someone but this is a really great set, it's also pretty nice because the Greek Yogurt alone is pretty expensive as well as their "Rose" products. So treat yo' self or treat someone else and feel good in the fact that it's a really nice gift.
  • Soap and Glory Bright and Bubbly set. $18 at Ulta. Soap and Glory has a great name in body care and you get 5 things in this set. Including their infamous Hand Food lotion and The Righteous Butter which is a body butter I believe. This would be nice for those people who love lotions, or pampering their self in the bath. Plus it's fairly inexpensive.
  • Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser ornament. $11 at Ulta. This is a great stocking stuffer. I swear by Purity Cleanser when nothing else works this will. It's very simple, no fuss, not harsh, and works with all skin types. Plus these little bottles last a long time with me. Although I have finally bought the big guy now.
  • Josie Maran Whimsical Argan Oil Color Essentials. $24 at Sephora. This is also in the sale section. Josie Maran is best known for her Argan Oil which you will get the "light" version in this. She doesn't just do skin care she does makeup as well. You will get Argan Oil Mascara, Argan Enlightment Illuminizer, Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee, and Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow. If you aren't sure about going the makeup route she also has a skincare essentials set for $30 in the sale section as well if you'd rather stick to that.
  • Lastly, another great stocking stuffer is the Sephora Eye Masks. $5 at Sephora. I love Pearl and Rose, they're my favorites all though to be honest I can't tell a difference in my skin between all the other ones they have. I do think the Pearl brightens or illuminates a little more though. I like the eye masks better than the face masks and I think that someone might be more likely to try eye sheets as opposed to face sheets cause they can kinda be annoying at first. The eye sheets aren't near the hassle.

Picture
Now for more makeup related items:
  • Tarte Deluxe Amazonian Butter Lipstick Set. $21 at Ulta. You get 4 lipsticks in this. These would be great for a teenager or someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup or color on their lips. They're on the sheer side I think all thought they say full coverage, and they're very shiny almost like a gloss. You get 4 shades: Sangria (berry red), Punch (mauve pink), Mimosa (peachy nude), and Bellini (golden pink).
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Lustrous Lip Gloss Set. $40 at Macy's and Anastasia website. This is 8 FULL SIZE glosses. I have this set and it's a great deal. Individually they run $16 or so, in this set you're getting them for $5 a piece. With a really wide range of golds, shimmers, nudes, pinks, reds, and dark berry shades. It's truly an amazing deal.
  • Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks. These comes in great shades. I love Manhattan, Miami Fever and Atlantic City. They are almost $20 but there is a 40% off code (kathleen40) provided by Kathleen Lights. That makes them around $12 or so. These would be great stocking stuffers and they offer tons of shades from neutrals, mauves, reds, pinks, to blues and greens too I think. It's a killer mousse like formula and they smell very good as well. They don't crumble on me and they don't dry out my lips. They are my favorite liquid lipstick on the market right now.
  • Sabastian Hair Sprays. On sale for $3-$8 at Ulta. I got two of the huge ones ($7.99) on Black Friday. There are quite a few different kinds to choose from. These are usually around $20 a bottle but they're on sale $8 as of right now. That could all change tomorrow. So if you wanted to get them, I would go ahead and do that. I think these would be great stocking stuffers as well.
  • Becca Glow on the Go set. $20 at Ulta. This is the shade Opal their bestseller and you get a travel size Opal Pressed Shimmer Skin Perfector and also a Liquid Spotlight Wand. Both in shade Opal. This is a nice set and Becca is pretty expensive, so if you wanted to try some of their stuff but didn't like the prices I'd get this.

Picture
Now on to some non-beauty gifts:
  • The Happy Planner. This is $24.99 at Hobby Lobby, I'm telling you to order it or buy it in store from Hobby Lobby because you can use their 40% off coupon for this and it makes it about $14. This is a 17 month planner, I find that it is similar to Erin Condren planners that are so popular right now and also more expensive. I have this one and I absolutely love it. You can jazz it up with stickers to write notes or add in sheets for, budgets, meal prep, to do lists, cleaning schedules, etc. It's easy to take out the pages you don't need anymore plus you have a month over look and then a weekly over look to jot down any notes or whatever, that's broke down into Morning, Afternoon and Evening. This is rather bulky but I love that. It comes in other cover styles as well. I think for Teachers or busy moms, students, or whomever this would be a great gift.
  • Next is a phone charging wristlet. I found this one on Amazon for $35. I got mine in Leopard from Express last year and it was $50. The more expensive brand is the Mighty Purse. This has a battery pack inside that you charge up and when you go out you just take your phone charger cord with you and if your battery gets low you just plug it in and slide it into the clutch. Plus you can use the wristlet to carry other things as well I use mine all the time. My phone constantly needs to be charged. Another good item would be a Mophie case. They're around $30 but you put the case on your phone and when your phone needs to be charged you just turn on the case and it starts charging your phone, which is pretty neat.
  • I picked a few things out from Kate Spade because its a "nice' gift to get to make someone feel extra special. I actually just sent my best friend the tumbler and travel mug because she had been sickly and nearly hospitalized. These are great gifts or stocking stuffers either way and like I said they're nice gifts to receive to make someone feel a little more special. The tumblers and mugs are $18 and then I chose some of their most popular earrings. I have the Tortoise and the Navy Glitter studs they're $38 a piece but they have sales all the time, they recently just done a 30% off sale. Sign up for emails and you'll get invited to their 75% off flash sales they often do. The stud earrings come in a lot of different colors but I find Tortoise is very classic. They also offer three glitter shades in Navy, Silver and Gold.
  • Speaking of Jewelry, Bauble Bar is doing their 12 days of buried baubles. Where they will have have a new buried bauble for 12 days. Today's was especially gorgeous statement earrings for $15. They have other jewelry as well in the buried baubles but again these were my favorites and they stay that price for the whole 12 days or until they sell out. They ship quickly and also don't charge you shipping or tax, which is always nice.
  • One thing I love getting is socks. I love socks. I'm kinda picky though. I love crew socks that have fun colors and patterns and I love ankle socks that are thicker on the sole and white with some kind of color running through them. I almost always get my crew socks from American Eagle but right now they only have one kind and one pattern. Granted they're around $5 though. So I went to the next best thing which is J. Crew. This is also going to be one of those "nice" gifts cause J.Crew can be pricey. For a nice little extra gift though I think this would be a great stocking stuffer and I love those yellow and grey ones.
  • Last but certainly not least, when all else fails get a gift card. My choice is Sephora (obviously), but Visa gift cards, or gift cards to someones favorite stores are always appreciated I think. Some people hate gift cards and never use them but that is never the case with Moi. My family always loads me up with Sephora gift cards actually and I love it. So if you can't think of anything else, or you're having to send someone a gift via mail I would do a gift card or even and egift card through an email.

So that's it. I hope that helps. I'll be doing some reviews soon and my black friday haul but I've been very sick for the past two weeks and currently been to the hospital twice so I've not been able to really get my head on straight yet.

New Colour Pop Goodies

12/4/2015

Picture
So this week I got some Colour Pop products. I got some of the new Raye Boyce collaboration, one of the new Holiday lip colors, a new-ish gel liner, and 3 newer shadow shades.
Picture
These are the three shadows I got. Glitterati I was most skeptical about but it's become my favorite. I think it's very similar to Kat Von D Thunderstruck actually just with glitter. It's a silver shade with plenty of sprakle. It's metallic finish and those are some of my favorite finishes in the entire line, those and the pressed pigments. Leopard is this INTENSE royal purple. It's matte and full blown purple. It's gorgeous. Drift is your typical cranberry color that's perfect for the holidays. It's a pearlized finish so it's got a sheen to it more than a shimmer. I actually thought it would be a much deeper red/burgundy but it's not it's a medium toned burgundy. I love cranberry shades they are so overlooked and they shouldn't be because they're gorgeous on everyone.

Picture
This is Rayezor, the collaboration with Raye Boyce. It's SO my style. It's just a perfect greyish mauve which I love. If you like Brink, I think you would like this. It reminds me of Underground from Gerard Cosmetics only better. It's just so pretty and very "everyday" in my opinion. I only have the lippie pencil as you know I prefer them to lipsticks. She also created a very beautiful liquid lipstick called Stingraye that I wish I would've gotten. It's a dead on dupe for Jefree Star Androgyny and ABH Veronica. Such popular colors but this one is $6.

Picture
This is one of the new holiday colors. It's called Scrooge. Which I though was so cute. It's a very pretty medium berry. It's almost pink but a little too dark to be pink so it qualifies as berry but it's not deep at all. So if you don't like plums or anything dark but you want something that's not incredibly bright, you may really like this shade. Also just $6.

Picture
This is the gel liner in Swerve. I just got black because I needed a black gel liner and also I hadn't heard the best reviews on this so I felt black was a safer route. I absolutely love this gel liner. It's very creamy in the pot and goes on very smooth and easy. It dries matte and doesn't budge. I'm not sure if that's why people didn't like them because they dry kinda fast and you couldn't really work with them after that, but I find that if you mess up gel liner anyway you're kinda screwed whether it dries fast or not. I mean if you mess it up and try fixing it it's gonna smudge so at least this really doesn't smudge. I haven't had any issues with it though. It goes on smooth and gives me plenty of time to draw my wing plus it's very easy to take off. A makeup wipe takes mine off. My Makeup Geek liner requires lots of rubbing and eye makeup remover. This was also $6.

Picture
So in this looks I'm wearing:

Rayezor on the lips
Swerve gel liner
Leopard and Glitterati (center of the lid) on the eye.

Glitterati is so beautiful, it looks silver but it has a golden duo chrome to it and it's so pretty.

  • Ofra Cosmetics. 11/27-11/30 50% off entire store. code: Ofra50

Ulta is doing a lot of stuff starting at 11pm est tonight online and some tomorrow I think at 6 and then some door busters at midnight for you in-store shoppers. They have a lot of good deals from Benefit 50% off products to flat irons and bigger things that are heavily discounted. The ad is online as well. MAC is doing 25% off in store only so far, on the holiday collections, which is HUGE. They never do that. Macy's has a lot of sales going on right now online (Laura Mercier, Urban Decay, Origins, etc)  and in store at 5pm tomorrow I think.

There will be more I'm sure. These are the ones that caught my eye. For those of you who like fashion:
  • Tory Burch is doing 30% off $250 purchase code:"Thanks" now-Monday

Thanksgiving Holiday Looks for Family Functions and Parties

11/11/2015

Picture
It's November and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Which means there's going to be functions, dinners and get together's for you to go to. I put together 9 looks that I would wear to any one of those. Some have glitter, some are more colorful, others are simple and natural. It's all in what you're comfortable with.

So instead of telling you how to do each one and what I used I'm just going to give you good option for Thanksgiving/fall inspired looks. All these looks are on my Instagram page with details of products used. (@lovemascara)

So here's some tips:

Neutral liquid lipstick. If this comes off it won't be as noticeable as a dark color or a bright color. So think Lolita from Kat Von D, Lovely or Pure Hollywood from ABH.

For dark lips or if you don't like liquid lipstick, use lip liners and fill in your entire lip with them. They last longer than a lipstick and certainly last longer than gloss. I love Colour Pop Cosmetics lip pencils. They have a ton of colors and they're $5. They are also a bit drier so they really stay on for a long time.

Colors I love:
Brink
Tipsy
Cake
Fetch
Feminist
Wet

For berry lips I really like Dose of Colors Berry Me. It's dupe is Rebel from LA Girl Cosmetics. I think Dose of Colors will look better throughout the day and fade prettier.

For a neutral eye and a pop on the lips I recommend Ofra Cosmetics Miami Fever. It's like a pumpkin color. Like a burnt brown orange.

For eyes that pop, try using a pigment. They're easier than you think. Buff in a crease color and then lay down a pigment either with your finger or a flat stiff brush. It makes your eye makeup look so much more complicated than it is.

Some pigments I recommend are:
MUG Hologram
MUG Vegas Lights
MAC Rose Gold
MAC Heritage Rouge
MUG Afterglow

Also try applying a foiled shadow or a duo chrome shadow to the lid with your finger. I like In The Spotlight foiled shadow, Amber Rush from Loreal, or Mai Tai duo chrome from MUG.

Also don't be afraid to try glitter. Using a glitter glue and your finger to apply it with. Tap a small amount out into the lid and go slowly so that you don't pack on too much glitter. I love Violet Voss glitters like Rosalind and Copperella, and I also love Beauty Bar Baby glitter stacks that are sample stacks where you can try a bunch of glitters for a fraction of the price. I use Fantasy and Send Me and Angel glitter from them the most.

Lashes are the final touch. If nothing else I will put on Lolita lipstick and a great pair of lashes and some Benefit Gimme Brow and call it a day. I LOVE House of Lashes "Siren" and also Violet Voss "Vamptress". Of course my tried and true are still the Bianca lashes from Lena Lashes but mink lashes can get on my nerves after a few hours so I tend to go for lashes that are lighter and fit better on my lash line if I'm gonna wear them all day.

My Favorite Halloween Looks This Year

10/30/2015

Picture
Halloween is tomorrow, so I wanted to put together my most favorite looks from this year. A few of them, my beautiful friends participated in. I'm not going to go in depth with this, just wanted to say good bye to Halloween with a look back at some of the past month (or more) work.  Some being very detailed and time consuming others being easier that you think. Also wanted to tell you what products I used the most.

Left Row Top to Bottom
Sketch Drawing: This was mainly black gel liner and Ben Nye Aqua Cake in white. It was relatively easy if you used a reference picture.
Mermaid: My lovely friend Danielle participated in this one. It's a lot of "candy colors".  Some in duo chromes and others just bright colors. Used a lot of Makeup Geek duo chromes, color hair spray, glued on pearls, and the Morphe 35S palette.
Pop Art Zombie: This was hard. It was time consuming and tedious. It's also the one I'm most proud of. Lots of Ben Nye cream paints, gel liner, and lip liner.

Center Row Top to Bottom
Female Mad Hatter: This was fun and quite easy. I used white cream paint to make myself a lot more pale but I didn't make it indredibly opaque I let a little of my skin color show through. Lots of orange shadow, and also orange liquid lipstick from Colour Pop on my lips and brows. Green Contacts and white mascara.
Angel or Fairy makeup: This was very easy and It seems like nothing but if I would've had an angel costume I would've been an angel for sure this Halloween. I literally sparkled all over. Using mainly Makeup Geek Duo Chrome Pigments and highlighters.
The Undead: This was freaky. I used Ben Nye Thick Blood and Vampire Blood from Walmart. White face paint and black shadows. It was pretty easy because it's a "messy" look so you don't have to be very careful.
Power Ranger: This I wish I could take credit for, my friends talked me into this look. One wanted me to do a power ranger, and one wanted me to do half the normal face and the other side the power ranger helmet to show how they have hidden identities. I used mainly Colour Pop Cosmetics lippie pencils for it. It takes a steady hand to draw out the lines. Other than that with a reference pic pulled up it was moderately easy.

Right Row Top to Bottom
Lisa Frank Puppy: This was very easy. I used mainly Colour Pop lip pencils for the spots. Ben Nye white face paint for the base. It was very very easy and different.
The Corpse Bride: This was accomplished with the help of my friend Jamie who was willing to sit through this. It took quite a while. Using Ben Nye cream paint in blue for the base. Gel Liner for brows and detailing. White face paint for the eyes. Black shadows for contouring to hollow out the cheek bones and collar bones and around the temples.
Cheshire Cat: This was just done last night. It wasn't time consuming but it wasn't very easy. I used Ben Nye purple cream paint, Colour Pop pencils and Makeup Geek purple shadows around the eyes and to contour. Gel Liner for the detailing, whiskers, and mouth. White Aqua Cake from Ben Nye to make the teeth. Cat contacts.

As far as what I found I used the most. I was surprised. The things that worked the best was Colour Pop lippie pencils and they come in tons of colors. I really like Snazaroo face paints too. I used a lot of Ben Nye products as well. They wanted to sheer out a lot though. The Thick Blood was amazing and cool to work with. You can't keep messing with it because it separates on the skin so I found you had to goop it on really thick and let it dry some. Also NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are always a great option as well. Milk and Black Bean are must haves but they have every color under the sun too and very affordable. Don't disregard your eye shadows either they are very useful over a base especially. They're great on their own or to set different colors.

So there you go. Happy Halloween! Have fun and BE SAFE!

Sephora Friends and Family Sale

10/30/2015

Picture
The Sephora Friends and Family sale is fixing to begin. For VIB Rouge we get early access from the 6th to the 9th. It's the regular 20% off and the code will be "ROUGE20" for online purchases. This will only work if you are VIB Rouge. The store event will be the 5th 7-9pm first access for VIB Rouge. I don't know if the VIB's get access from the 6th-9th as well or if it'll be after. There usually is another code but I can't find it yet. I will update this post as soon as I do. I got my card the other day in the mail so the others should be arriving.

So I thought I would put together some things that would be a good buy, since you're getting 20% off. Some you've seen me talk about in previous posts as good gift ideas and what not but I just wanted to touch on those again and some other ones that are really spectacular. Not all of these are on my list. I actually have a very small list.
  • Philosophy Purely New Beginnings Purity Cleanser set $38.50. I have this. It's already in the sale section and obviously not selling out soon. It's on sale for $38 and you can take a extra 20% off of it. It comes with full sized, Purity Cleanser, Oil and Mask.
  • Laura Mercier Metal To Metal Caviar Stick Eye Color Collection $58. This is Caviar Sticks which is cream shadows. I love them they're thin and pigmented and butter soft. Great as bases and on their own. It's 6 Caviar Sticks including two popular colors in Amethyst and Khaki.
  • Marc Jacobs Style Eye Con No. 20 Plush Eyeshadow $99. I've talked about this before it's very expensive but if you wanted it, now would be the time to get it.
  • Buxom Leave Your Mark Full on Lip Polish and Cream Set $59. 8 mini lip polishes and 7 mini lip creams. I don't necessarily love Buxom glosses because of the menthol scent and flavor but lots of people are and they are good products none the less.
  • Kat Von D Monarch Eye and Lip Set $75. This set is insane! You get the Monarch Palette which is beautiful and warm. You get an everlasting liquid lipstick in Jeffree, a lipstick in Archangel, Lightening Liner in Jett, and Immortal Lash Mascara.
  • Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. Pressed Champagne Glow Palette $34. This is newly released. It's a really good deal you get a new shade Pearl, as well as Champagne Pop and Blushed Copper. I won't be getting this because I have a ton of highlighters as well as Champagne Pop and the Blushed Copper seems too dark for my skin tone. However I would get it if I didn't have Champagne Pop.
  • Makeup Forever 15 Artist Shadow Palette $59. This is a 15 shade shadow palette. They are butter soft and I'm highly tempted to get it.
  • Urban Decay Naked on The Run palette $39. This is also on sale and hasn't sold out yet. I have it. I think it's a great gift. Urban Decay does wonderful products. It's 5 shadows, lip gloss, eye liner, mascara, blush and bronzer combo and highlight.
  • Tarte Light of The Party Collectors Makeup Case $59. I've talked about this as well. I am buying this for a gift for someone. It offers something for everyone along with two palettes.
Some other things that are great to look at are:
  • The Viseart Palettes
  • Foundations
  • YSL anything basically
  • Perfumes
  • Clarisonic products
Basically anything that is a "luxury item" you've wanted but couldn't get down with the price, here's you're best chance.

Gift Ideas for the Holidays

10/21/2015

Picture
We've already discussed some of the Holiday sets from Sephora. More have released and I wanted to give you some gift ideas in different price ranges of things that might be "the perfect gift" for certain someones. These are mainly makeup related but there are tons of skin care sets as well that would be good gift ideas too.
  • First up top left: Urban Decay Revolution Lip Gloss Travel Size Duo. This is $14. You get shades Liar and Anarchy in this. This would be a great stocking stuffer in my opinion.
  • Top Right: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Opal Glow on The Go. This is $20. It's the best selling shade from the line which is Opal. You get an Opal skin pressed perfecter and a Spotlight Wand, both of which are travel size.
  • Bottom Left. Clinique Get The Skinny Eye Set. This is $15. You get a mascara, skinny stick eyeliner, and my favorite makeup remover. It's travel size except for the eyeliner which I believe is full size.
  • Bottom Right. Deborah Lippmann Roses in The Snow Duo. This is $15. You get two shades one being Modern Love (mauve) and Some Enchanted Evening (glitter). These are formulated with biotin and green tea extract to nourish and strengthen the nails.

  • Top Right. Meet Your Match. This is $25. You get a Deborah Lippmann Polish, Lipsurgence Lip Tint, Formula X Nail Polish, Hourglass Gloss, Nails INC Nail Polish, and Bite Beauty lip gloss. This is not a new holiday set but it's still very nice.

Easy Halloween Looks

This is a Lisa Frank puppy inspired Halloween look. Google it and you'll see why I have a brush in my mouth. lol
This was really easy.

All you do is:
  • Paint entire face white
  • Use colored liners, paints or shadow to make your spots
  • Use gel liner to draw your nose and puppy lips (which is just two curved lines from the corners of the mouth going up)
  • Winged liner is optional and color of your brows are optional as well

This is a scarecrow. You can choose to paint your face white or just use foundation.
  • Use gel liner for the stitched mouth, drawn on brows, and drawn  on bottom lashes and sewn on nose
  • Orange lipstick or paint for the lips and nose
  • Orange blush on the apples of the cheeks

This was actually inspired from an Instagram picture I seen fro @amyrichardsmakeup. It looked so Tim Burton. I have no other makeup on in this so it's just a rough draft. I would make my face very pale though in this and maybe use some white mascara or something. To keep the Tim Burton vibe alive!

The trickiest part of this is making the shadows of the legs which make it look 3D, make sure you're using actual shadow to do it and actual liner on the lips to make them very black. Gel liner for the legs. This look is easy because its meant to be messy. It's easier than it looks.
