I've already wrote this once....and it got deleted. So here I am again. Hope your day is a bit better than mine. This is going to be my favorites lately both makeup and skincare. It's not incredibly long, it's basically not just what I'm loving but also what I've used the most lately.
Starting with the favorites:
I've been using Dr. Roebucks CLEANSE a lot lately. It's such a nice gentle cleanser. Doesn't leave the skin feeling tight and doesn't leave a film over the skin or any residue. You can sue my code if you want a discount. It's "LOVEMASCARA15". It's an affiliate code. You don't have to use it if you don't want to but it's there just in case.
I finished up a bottle of UFO last week and started on my new one. I've had such pissy skin lately that I just have kept UFO in my routine to try and control it and also soothe it. Works every time.
ELF Prep and Hydrate Balm. This is super cooling. If you like the Milk blue cooling stick then I think you would like this. It's just lovely. I use it before primer. It does have a scent just so you know.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Rich Moisturizing Tint. This is more than a tinted moisturizer. It's got more pigment than you'd expect. It's thicker than you'd expect as well. I wear it alone and with a full face of makeup and as my only base product. So I'm good with this being a foundation for me. Hasn't clogged my pores. I just love it.
Wet n Wild Cushion Foundation. This was on my recent WIATAT post of 3 wet n wild products that people needed to pay attention to. I've been reaching for this more than any other foundation lately. You look so healthy when you wear it. Don't go by the color on the packaging I have Ivory and it looks like Tan.
Kristen Leanne x Urban Decay Kaleidoscope palette. I got this for $19.50 in the sale section, I also picked up the Day Dreamer palette for $13. They're both awesome and I highly recommend you GET ON THAT if you see them. I use the Kaleidoscope palette more. It's so pigmented. The duo shades are so stunning. The black is the blackest black shadow I have. I even really like the brushes that came with both of these palettes.
Another palette is the Natasha Denona Tropic Palette. As much as I reach for the UD one above, I reach for this one just as much. I'm living for the matte shades in this palette. It's a palette that has everything you need in my opinion and thank God because it's $129. Some people didn't like this formula and I do. I love it more than the previous one. I have an entire review on it so I won't drag on about it.
Flower Beauty Matte Lips. These are the weirdest but also the best liquid lips I've tried. Somehow these dry down to semi-matte and keeps hydrating your lips so that they never feel tight or dried out. They do wear off probably a little faster than like ABH or KVD but they're similar to my beloved Bare Minerals Gen Nude Matte liquid lips.
Moving on to some dislikes:
It Cosmetics Cleanser. I don't get why people like it. It left my skin tight and dry and I had so much residue I had to wash my face again with my regular cleanser.
LA Pro Girl HD Matte foundation. Again, everyone loves this but I don't. It's not matte on me. It doesn't have the best coverage. I also hate the way my skin looks while wearing it.
Wet N Wild Highlighting Mermaid Bar. This is not bad it's just I thought it was going to be more golden and it's a weird duo chrome with glitter. Using it on the eyes though is kinda nice.
I'll leave off here. I don't want to get too negative. Happy first week of April and I hope you have a really good Easter weekend!
I'm from Tennessee. I'm a makeup and skincare lover. I have always enjoyed creating looks but I love to help people with product knowledge and application even more. I've been able to do these things because God has seen fit to bless me with the opportunity.
