Hey guys, here we are for another gift guide. This is for your office peeps or your friends who really enjoy stationary and planning (like myself), along with some extras that are helpful to have on hand. My desk up above is actually my mamaw's sewing machine. That's her crystal lamp, and some milk glass, etc. This one is going to be pretty short. I'm not going too crazy with it. So let's get started. Planners: I am a planner freak. I have had one for 3 years now and it's the size of a notebook. I've had Happy Planners. This year I also checked out Bloom Planners. Specifically the All in One Calendar, Notebook, Sketchpad, and even a coloring section. That's what I really like about it because I sketch out my Halloween looks or anything really, I constantly write lists and notes in my notebooks. So at any given time I'll have 3 books on me. Why not have it all in one thing. A lot of people really go for Erin Condren and I like that lay out too. However, there are alot of options now that are less expensive. I go all out with mine and do the whole stickers thing and everything. I love looking at planner layouts on Pinterest for ideas. Speaking of Bloom Planners, I was actually unaware that I had their contact/address book as well and have had it for several years. I know that a lot of people just use their phones/computer. You have no idea how necessary it is to have a physical address book in your house or at your desk. It's just easier in my opinion and it's also good to have for other people who want to plan something for you. It's basically the same reason why I like physical planners and calendars. I know it's on my phone, in apps, on my laptop. It's just kinda nice to look up at a calendar to remind me who's birthday it is or to remind myself that I have a drs appointment. Moving along. You know this is coming. Notebooks but specifically Fringe Notebooks. I get mine from TJ Maxx because they're much cheaper there. They are just the best notebooks. They're soft imitation leather mostly, I think, and the pages are lined with a little "date" section at the top. My favorite part is just how thick the paper is. They don't really get bent or creased. I've filled tons of them up. Writing my notes, making lists, gift ideas, blog post ideas. I buy every one they have when I'm there. Good notebooks are all I really recommend. For instance I want them to be a little more durable. Hard to bend. The paper doesn't slip out of the spirals. I prefer full size to any other size. I don't want a pocket notebook because I do more than just writing down a few notes or checklists. And speaking of Fringe that leads me to mugs. They have some really cute mugs. I love seeing them on Instagram. I love huge mugs that aren't the conventional shape and size. I obsess over mugs. Once again I tend to mine from TJ Maxx for like $3. Also Walgreens has some cute mugs (and decor actually) especially festive ones. Anthropologie has some awesome mugs I have two in my first initial and last initial. Leading from mugs into Tumblers, Water Bottles, cold cups, etc. Again TJ Maxx. That's you're best bet. I also really like the bkr glass water bottles with a silicone cover. They're always doing a warehouse sale for 40% lately. There's a few in the Sephora section as well. I love getting tumblers and cold cups like Yeti or RTIC at Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, pretty much anywhere. You can get a little fancy even, I've been gifted Kate Spade tumblers and I love them. That would be a super nice and a little bit of an "extra" gift. I think Lily Pultizer even have them. Here's some random gift ideas. I have a Himalayan Salt lamp on my desk and a Selenite tower lamp. The salt lamp actually helps the air you're breathing in and it's supposed to be very good for those with asthma. Plus it's gorgeous. For those who are really into essential oils, I recommend a diffuser, I have a Young Living one and it's so pretty. They have stunning ones actually. There's also some tiny ones/portable ones what work with a USB cord and there's some that glow and change lights while they're on. Another idea I had, due to my best friend, J, who works at a desk everyday. We've been discussing this for a while and we think she should get one of the tiny refrigerators. Not the classic "mini fridge" I'm talking one that would hold maybe 6 can drinks, maybe 4 bottles. I got one on black Friday that is a retro pale pink it was $20. RCA has some really cute ones too for around $34 I think, they have a really awesome pastel yellow and bright red. They're super small. They're portable. I love mine which I use for skincare mists and such.
There ya go. If you know someone that loves stationary, paper supplies, stuff for their desk, and so on, maybe try one of these gifts.
