Alright, if you're like me you don't take part in the "January No Buy" because there's so many good holiday sets still available and some of them are on sale. My birthday is also in January (the 29th actually) so of course I look for those good deals, and also take the time to treat myself to something I've wanted for a long time. You may get gift cards, etc as well. So I've put together some things that I've gotten that I think are really amazing that might help you with ideas of what to get yourself. First up is a brand that I've wanted for a while and I was sent this holiday value set from Beautylish which I really appreciate. I wasn't asked to speak on it though. It's the Christmas Omorovicza Moor Mud Set. This is a pricey brand but it's amazing. This is some of their hero products and a fantastic set. It includes a full size Thermal Cleansing Balm which is a "holy grail" for many people. It includes the Refining Facial Polisher which seems to be full size since it's 30 ml. It also includes another hero product that I actually learned about from Thom or @Skinstaguy on Instagram (who is amazing and you should follow him for sure, you won't regret it.) which is the Ultramoor Mud Mask in a travel size at 15 ml. I've heard him say this is one of the few mud masks that work for him. It's also one of the most popular products they have. You also get a little tiny cleansing mitt. I've only seen this on Beautylish. I hope it's still available but even if it isn't they have the entire line that has many other great value sets and they offer installment payments when you spend over a certain amount of money. So I'll always look to them for the pricey items that I want to buy.
Another product, that Beautylish carries as well, that would be worth considering is the Natasha Denona palettes. I myself am in love with the Metropolis Palette, however the Safari Palette is right behind it. If you like a more smokey look then go to Metropolis, if you want a sturdy everyday palette then go from Safari or even the Biba palette. The last two have plastic packaging that closes tightly. Where as the Metropolis Palette and also some of their older palettes like Sunset and Lila are a magnetic closure and I don't feel as comfortable taking them somewhere in case they open in transit. I know I talk about them a lot but it's truly because I love them. When it comes to recommendations and favorites there won't be brand new products every time. It's going to be tried and true products that have held up over time that I still love, with a dash of new products here and there that get added to the collection. Moving along we have more skincare and that's no surprise. However, this isn't a brand I talk about a lot and truthfully I've not tried very many products from them. It's the Herbivore Self Love Facial Ritual Kit. It's on sale right now at Sephora and that's why I got it because it was already a good value set of products I was interested in and then went on sale. I talked about this in my haul that I just posted so I won't spend too much time here. It's the Emerald Facial Oil which is lovely. The brand new PRISM Glow Facial which is not the same as the PRISM Serum, this is stronger. It also has a full size Rose Hibiscus Mist and finally a rose quartz face contour crystal. It's a very good deal and I'm amazed that it's still in the sale section and not sold out yet. Also for skincare the Algenist Secrets of Algae Kit. This was sent to me from Algenist because they know how much I love their Liquid Collagen which is full sized in this set. It's in the sale section of Sephora as well. Along with the full Liquid Collagen it has mini sizes of the cult favorite Complete Eye Renewal Balm, Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream (another favorite of mine) and the new Genius Sleeping Collagen (that I also really like). It's a solid set and definitely worth checking out. Again I'm amazed it's not sold out already since it's on sale even more. I'm going to leave this here. Those are the things that have stood out to me the most. The only other thing I could possibly add, in case someone needed it, would be to look at some brush sets. Like UNITS or Wayne Goss from Beautylish. Zoeva from ULTA. Makeup by Mario's new brush line at Sephora. Brushes are something that you're going to use every day and it's important to remember that when looking for some. You want them to hold up. That's pretty much everything for me. I hope this helps you if you're in the mood to buy yourself something good. If your birthday is at the beginning of the year like mine then Happy Birthday! I hope the Lord blesses us this year with much happiness and grateful hearts.
