Here we are with another foundation review. This one is far more affordable than the last one I talked about. It's also far more affordable than the next one coming after this. This is the new L'Oreal 24hr Infallible Fresh Wear foundation. This has a quite extensive shade range. It's on everyone's radar and for good reason. Going to give you the company claim first: "Be Unstoppable. Introducing our breakthrough longwear foundation with breathable-skin technology. Up to 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation provides medium-to-full buildable coverage that lasts all day and allows the skin to breathe. The formula's three oil absorbers resist sweat, water, and transfer. The ultra-thin liquid goes on smoothly to give a fresh, healthy-looking complexion that lasts. Color stays true and blends in evenly, so your makeup looks fresh all day. Non-comedogenic and formulated with SPF, this foundation is suitable for all skin types. In 30 shades for every skin tone." I picked this up at my local Walgreens. I actually got online and clipped coupons to my card on the Walgreens site and saved $2. This foundation is anywhere from $11-$15 from what I've seen. It's in glass pump packaging. The consistency is very much the working definition of "liquid foundation". However, although very liquid in texture. It's finish is quite full coverage. So light weight but great coverage. It is heavy on the fragrance so if you don't like perfume smelling products or if you're sensitive to fragrance then avoid. I have this in shade 410. My first tip is to shake it up every time. Which you should be doing to all your foundations but definitely the liquid formulas like this. There are 30 shades I do believe. They even had testers out for a few shades. It's a step up than what I'm used to seeing with drugstore foundations and displays. This is the first foundation launch from the drugstore that I've been really excited about in a while. It's getting consistent good reviews. Actually great reviews. I tend to agree with them. This is a very good foundation. It's finish is very natural and it turns dewy on me as the day goes on. I have heard from some of my friends that it's a foundation that need to sit on their skin for about 30 minutes and then it looks perfect. I notice for myself that it goes on very well and blends very evenly but oddly enough it seems paler/lighter on the skin than it looks in the bottle. This foundation seems to be one of those foundations that get better about 30 minutes to an hour after applied. It doesn't look bad but as the foundation dries down I believe that is the shade it really should be and the color you're seeing in the bottle. I know that didn't make since but we've all had those foundations that need to sit on the skin for a few minutes before they look right. I also notice that it seems to make the skin look smoother once blended out and that's with or without primer. So it doesn't seem to make fine lines more apparent and they aren't totally gone either but you do kind of have a smoothing effect I think. Like I said it's $11-$15 depending on where you buy it and don't forget to look for coupons that are L'Oreal or you could use the ULTA 3.50 coupon if you wanted to buy from ULTA it's $14.99 though so I prefer getting it at Walgreens or Walmart which ever is lowest because it was $12 at my Walgreens. Then check to see if L'Oreal has a coupon in store or one you could print off online for a couple dollars. That would possibly bring it down to $10 or $11 maybe. I think this would agree with most skin types. Oily might have to touch up some because I do think this is a "healthy looking" finish and it seems to be pretty hydrating, so you might want to really test it out with a good primer if you're very oily. I would recommend this unless you're sensitive to fragrance. I find that it looks beautiful on everyone that has tried it so far. I appreciate that there is a ton of shades in this line. It's probably one of the best drugstore foundations I've tried. I'm going to drop two pictures here of the swatches. The swatches won't be in natural light. On the left side is the dried swatch, on the right is the wet swatch. Ingredients:
