Hope you all have had a really good week, let's end it on a good note with my favorite hair products. As you know, with body care I don't branch out much. Same goes for hair, I like what I like and I don't like changing things up that often. Mainly because I feel like these products do a fairly good job at keeping my hair healthy and manageable. Everyone is different though so you may need something different entirely.
My hair is very long, it's color treated with blue ends which they had to lighten in order to get them to be a vibrant blue. It used to be quite thick and wavy growing up, but as I've gotten older it's thinning and flat, especially if it's straight. I don't get it color treated very often because it takes a while since it's so long. I honestly, go to the salon maybe once every 3 months but sometimes it's just twice a year. I got when I need a big change basically. So before you ask, yes I cut my own hair and do my own touch ups at home. I'm crafty like that.
Getting into the products that are my faves:
So that's it guys. Those are the products I use. I'm not a huge hair spray or styling products type person. I like it when I have a little texture from dry shampoo but I don't really use hair spray unless I'm doing a specific hair style. I never blow dry my hair, and I usually only use heat on it once a week, if that. It tends to hold curl pretty well so that's also a bonus. I do use a Wet Brush out of the shower to detangle my wet hair. I rarely tease/back comb the hair since I feel it does more harm than good. I do like DIY Hair Masks that you can find on Pinterest. My favorite is an Olive Oil, Egg combination. I think it's 4 ingredients but I could be wrong. I find that it restores my shine the most and I feel like it's the raw egg that does it because I've made different variations but they've all had 1 raw egg in them and my hair was super shiny.
I'm from Tennessee. I'm a makeup and skincare lover. I have always enjoyed creating looks but I love to help people with product knowledge and application even more. I've been able to start blogging and do these things I love because God has seen fit to bless me with the opportunity. Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me!
