I hope you're enjoying your labor day weekend. I was just at Walgreens and I seen that there was a $2 coupon off the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation which is a really good foundation making it like $3-$4! So anyways, I got to thinking what my favorite affordable makeup products are of all time. Thus, I bring you a blog post. Starting with Wet n Wild, obviously. The Photo Focus line is my favorite. I like the foundation, the pressed powder, the concealer, etc. I also love their MegaCushion Foundation and the Cushion Highlight in Pearl, the packaging looks kinda pink but it's a pearl shade of highlight that is beautiful. Their MegaGlo highlighters are great. They do a good job! Well done Wet n Wild, you are doing the most!
Moving on to ELF. There are plenty of things that I really love from ELF. I like their mechanical brow pencils for like $2. They're lovely, I get the shade Taupe. I like their Flawless Finish Foundation. I mean it's a glass bottle and pump packaging for $6. I dig it. I like their blush and bronzer palettes. They even have a selfie ring light that clips on your phone! Found. My favorite product is the Smoothing Primer. So lovely. I love their blushes and their brow pencils. I also really like their Chia Seed Oil and Camelia Oil Cleanser. They're a clean beauty brand and available at Walmart. I love the Catrice HD Foundation but the shade range is crap, however I want to think I heard that they were going to expand the range which currently sits at 4. I also like their waterproof HD concealer. So nice. Flower Beauty which is probably the most expensive out of all of these has the best Matte liquid lipsticks. They're oddly moisturizing and comfortable. Their sponge is my Holy Grail. I hear their brushes are very nice but I've not tried them. The products I have tried have been really good and exceeded all expectations though. *Some honorable mentions though: I really like the Conair detangle brush. Which is their version of the Wet Brush and it's got super long bristles and for my very long and thick hair it works out well. According to my hair guru Savannah aka "Poodle", she says the Conair Jilbere Porcelain Series curling iron is one of the best because it's like a matte finish gold barrel that really grips the hair and curls it amazingly. Also, my favorite bobby pins are by Diane. I get them off Amazon without the grooves in it so they're just flat basically in a tub of like 100 or more for like $3-$5? They don't budge. They don't slide out of my hair. I love them.
