Here in the last year I've found several good concealers. Not all are included in my top favorites, but I have really found some gems. These 4 are my tried and true though. They work when nothing else will. So let's just jump right into this.
Top left Maybelline Master Conceal: This is a very liquid-ish type formula but SO full coverage. I love that this is a drugstore product. There are others that I really like (Maybelline Fit Me, Lumi Pen, NYX High Coverage concealer and NYX HD Concealer.) This one though is the best coverage and it's very thin as well. The others are either less pigmented or more creamy which can settle into fine lines and age you. I got the shade Light but I wish I had gotten Fair. Fair seems more yellow in tone and Light seems more neutral which can turn a little pink on me. I can only find 5 shades in it so it doesn't have the best shade range. It's are $7-$8. I recommend getting it at Ulta right now they're doing buy one get one 50% off for qualifying products. Top Right MAC Pro Longwear: This comes in 16 shades. It's completely liquid and is packaged as a pump. The pump actually causes me to waste too much product if I'm not super careful. The shade I have right now is NC20. I usually get NW20 and accidentally got this one. I like both shades really well though. I may like NW20 a little better because it does a really good job at brightening the under eye area. It's also very thin and full coverage. NC20 is a bit more yellow and a touch darker it seems, but it's great in the summer when I'm tan. This is "anti crease" technology so it doesn't settle into the fine lines and can also be used as eye lid primer. It's $21 and you get 9 ml. Which is quite a bit, this usually lasts me for a very long time. Bottom Left Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil. WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE? Seriously I want to know! This is a VERY creamy and a bit heavy pencil. It's blends great. I actually was worried that it was going to be dry because it was a crayon, I was wrong. It's very very full coverage and it can look cakey if you over do it. It has to be sharpened and that's my problem with it. I feel like because it's so creamy that it never sharpens correctly and it gets wasteful trying to sharpen this thing. Also it goes down so quickly again because it's so creamy. So I don't feel like it's going to last very long. It's $20 though and I don't feel like that's the worst deal. If you have a pro discount with them you can use it on this. It's .12 oz, and the shade I got was CIA. It's the lightest shade and more yellow toned. There are 6 shades. I use this under the eye as well as for blemishes. Bottom Right Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. Why the long name people? Honestly. This is my Holy Grail. This is it. It's my ride or die. It's the peas to my carrots. There are 6 shades I get Light Warm because it's more yellow in tone. It's very pale which I like. This is completely weightless and full coverage. Which is why I love it. You don't feel it but it works so well on the under eye area to brighten that up. You can bake/cook with it if you want. It's liquid to cream I guess but it's very thin. Its a wand applicator, I thoroughly love it. I'm on my 2nd tube. I just can't say enough good things about it. It's $28 which is kinda pricey. If you were thinking about the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer or this I would choose this one. The NARS concealer is thicker and more of a cream and personally I feel like the NARS concealer makes me look older. If you're curious as to what I use to set these with, I use either Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light, Kat Von D highlight powders, ABH Banana Powder, or Besame Violet Brightening Powder. Lots of people like the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder but it oxidizes my concealer for some reason. I've tried using less, more, setting it immediately, waiting a while to set it, and it just never amazed me. I wish it would work for me though cause I have an entire jar of it. I prefer thinner powders to set my concealer and I use a thinner duo fiber tapered brush to apply this so that it doesn't pack on too much powder or shift the concealer. So that's it. These are my faves. This doesn't include correctors or anything. Just my favorite skin toned concealers.
