My Shopping List for the Sephora Friends and Family Sale.

​We're in the midst of the Sephora Friends and Family Sale right now and I must say this is like Christmas for me. So I always recommend your Buying Guide from products that I have tried and tested so that I'm not pointing in the dark.

However, I love to hear what people are going to buy as well. So I thought I'd give you my list of products I'm interested in. To start let me just say I try not to buy products that are also available at ULTA. Only because they do 20% off all the time especially around now and I like their point system better.

​So specifically these are the items I'm looking into from Sephora.

First up: Dior Backstage Contour Palette. I love the face palette so much and I've heard all good things about the contour palette so that is top of the list for me. I'm also wanting to try the Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette which is all new shades and I feel like it's a safe bet. Currently it's sold out. Bummer.

Next is the Pat McGrath Labs MTHRSHP Subliminal Dark Star Eyeshadow Palette. This one is the one that catches my eye. There are several palettes that she has though and they are stunning. I've never tried her formula so that's why I really want to and these are less expensive than the full palette. Full palette is $125 these palettes re $55. She has some more neutral ones as well like the Bronze Ambition, Platinum Bronze, and Bronze Temptation. She has some more metal shades like in the Subversive Metalmorphosis. They still have the Subversive La Vie Rose palette which is much brights with pops of pink and purple in it. The artwork is insane and the pan size is really good in my opinion. So I can't wait.

Next is something I have been eyeing for a whileeeeee. It's the Marc Jacobs Coconut Gel Dew Drops. Which is an illuminator. It's looks so amazing and I love how it looks on everyone so I'm going to splurge and get it. That's how I prefer my highlight honestly is in a cream or liquid/gel formula. 

There's a Stila Set that I think is amazing for $45. Its the Aura Alight Glitter and Glow Highlighter and Liquid Eyeshadow Set.  There's 4 glitter and glow eyeshadows and 2 glitter and glow highlighters which I will likes use as eyeshadow topper because I don't want glitter on my cheeks. They have several smaller sets or trios in both glitter and glow eye shadows and shimmer and glow eyeshadows. The shimmer and glow is more like a foiled finish like metal is on your eyes. Glitter and glow is the sparkle that doesn't give you fall out or require glitter glue.

Next is the new shades in the Fenty Stunna Lip Paint  Longwear Fluid Lip Color. I have this in the red which is Uncensored. I love it in the new shades including the black. I'm going to get Unveil though because it's a chocolate brown. I wanted "Uncuffed" because it's a Rosy Mauve but it's really similar to every neutral mauve I have. So I wanted to go a little different which was either Unveil or Unbutton which is a peachy nude and quite different that the typical peachy nudes.

I also really want to try the Herbivore Rosewater Hydration Trio. It has the products I've not tried like Prism Exfoliating Glow Potion, Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisture Creme, and Rose Hydration Facial Mist. 

Also I pick up a perfume during this event if I have one that I've been eyeing or really loved the sample I got. That's usually how I choose perfume, I try little spray freebies and or use my points for them and find one that I really enjoy every now and then and this year is Commodity Moss. SO GOOD. I also really love their Bergamot scent as well. They're unisex scents which I prefer. I seldom buy perfume at all. I hate buying perfume because they're expensive but if I absolutely love it and it doesn't give me a headache....I'm down.

​I might pick up some Sephora Collection blushes because I hear they're great. I'm really interested in the INC.redible line. Their iridescent jelly seems cool and their lip gloss looks really nice plus their price point is really good. Honorable mentions that I might look at are: the Dr Jart products in the sale section like their cleanser, Youth To The People Cleanser full size, The Sephora Pro Palettes I'd really love to try the formula, and also the mini palettes from Violet Voss and Huda Beauty.  They look lovely and I do happen to like the Huda Beauty electric obsession palette.
