I know I don't speak to often about apparel but as you know from my gift guides and such, I love socks....they're my guilty pleasure. I can never have enough. My Society Socks actually reached out and asked if I'd like to try some of their socks and talk about their sock subscription and cause behind it. Obviously, I was stoked. So let's get straight to it. None of the links are affiliate links they're just to make this easier for you guys.

I'm going to give you the direct claims from the site so that I get all the information to you.
"Society Socks is a bold sock company with a social cause. With every pair of socks sold, another pair is donated to charity. Behind our brand is a strong team of innovators looking to create a positive change in the world. Before creating Society Socks, co-founders Filip Pejic and Sergey Sapelnyk searched for the right opportunity to get their hands dirty and experience entrepreneurship. They decided to merge two worlds that they’re incredibly passionate about, style and social impact, to create something special. Society Socks are the ultimate blend of craftsmanship and style. They turn the traditional understanding of socks inside out and create products that help people express their individuality. Society Socks supports the notion that socks shouldn’t be dull and colorless, but bold and expressive" Upon reading up on this, I learned that socks are the least donated and most needed item of clothing in homeless shelters and that shelters only accept new socks. Society Socks is all about fostering a community of people that care about each other’s well-being. A gesture as small as donating one pair of socks to charity leads the way to a better society. A pair of socks is a small stepping stone towards greater change. All we need to do is set the gears in motion. They work with several charities: CHARITIES WE DONATE SOCKS TO:Engage and Change The Covenant House Young Women's Christian Association COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND EVENTS:American Blind Skiing Foundation Colette's Children's Home Grip Limited KidCare Providence Fire Department What's not to love and appreciate about their message. It's truly moving and also motivating to see people that are working to try and make this world a better place. It seems like the positive stories and messages are so overlooked right now because we're drowning in negativity a lot of the time. However, that doesn't mean we should stop trying or stop doing good things and helping our fellow man. There's always going to be something that is distracting us out there, but it's a comfort for me to know that there's still people doing what they can to give humanity a fighting chance for a better world. It also makes me start thinking of "what can I do that's helpful?". Not just with this opportunity but in my own town and in my own state. It starts the conversation in other words. Now, you can do a subscription with them and decide what you'd like. You can get 2 pairs of socks each month for $19.99, or there are other subscriptions. You can buy them individually or in bundles which is also really cool. I love my lion pair (below), my husband digs the lightning bolt pair. They also have a cactus pair and a flamingo pair that's in my cart right now. The quality is great. Not too thin, I can't stand super thin socks, really comfy but durable. Easily worn with casual shoes, dress shoes, or boots. They even have the option to customize your socks. Let me say that again "YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE YOUR SOCKS". I can literally put "Love and Mascara" on some socks and wear them around. I can put my friends names on them and give them as a cute gift. That is awesome! If you're interested in getting some cool socks that will also donate a pair of cool socks to a good cause you can check My Society Socks out here: www.mysocietysocks.com
