Neostrata Sheer Hydration SPF 35: Got You Covered

​If you're looking for a super lightweight but effective SPF, Neostrata has got you covered. No pun intended there. The Neostrata Sheer Hydration SPF 35 is the most light weight formula I've ever seen. It absorbs quickly, not greasy in the least and easy to apply makeup over top. I love it.

There isn't much from them that I don't love to be honest. I've said it before but I completely trust my skin with Neostrata and Exuviance. I've not had a single problem with any product I've ever tried from them and believe me I've tried a lot. The SPF in this product is 35 borad spectrum. Now there is a lot of theories about SPF but my personal thoughts are that the difference in protection between a 50 spf to a 30 spf is not much at all. So I'm perfectly fine with SPF 35. 

I find this does very well on it's own as moisturizer and spf. I didn't notice any flash back or ashy/white cast from it. I love the formula because my primer doesn't have to work as hard as it would with a heavier or thicker formula. It says that it helps control oil and I feel like that's true for me. My skin type is "normal" but I would definitely recommend this to those who are combo-oily. To be honest though I would recommend it to any skin type though because I love the SPF benefit from it above all. In the fall and winter, I doubt I will even use primer with it. Makeup sits very well on top. It doesn't congest my skin at all. Where some sunscreens definitely do. So that's a major plus. As far as the SPF it does a fantastic job of keeping my skin covered on the day to day. Now, if I was going to wear this by itself and going to be outside all day I would still apply this, as I do every SPF I own, every two hours. That's my personal method of application with any SPF no matter what. I use this on the face, neck and chest. Don't forget your neck and chest. You'd be surprised at how many people do forget their neck and chest when apply sunscreen or any skincare for that matter.
