Recently I got sent some of Neutrogena's HydroGel masks and also a sleeping mask to try out. The one that you'll be seeing is the HydroBoost gel mask which is my favorite line from Neutrogena. I use their HydroBoost cleanser all the time. It's in constant rotation in my routine. I think the line is especially good if you're dehydrated. I tend to put a difference between having dry skin and having actual dehydrated skin. I won't get into all the reasoning in this but dry skin might be flaky or areas of dryness and it might just mainly be on the epidermis and effected by certain things like weather, or a product that's very drying and so on. Dehydrated is the dry and tight feeling along with the skin literally drinking up product very fast, the skin isn't plump, it may look quite dull, so on. I think there is far more skin that is dehydrated than most people realize and it's typically the first thing that any facialist or professional would treat during a facial or session.
For any "type" of skin but especially dehydrated skin, Hyaluronic Acid serums and products are going to be your best friend and most beneficial I think. Luckily it comes in various formulas now, from serums, to gels, heavier creams, sleeping facials/masks and so on but in this case it's a HydroGel Mask. There's also a night time sleeping mask as well if you're interested.
This is by far the best sheet mask and hydrogel mask I've tried because of how it forms to the face. In general, I find that with most masks you put on the sheet or gel and lay down so it doesn't slide around and that's great because you can take 20 minutes or so out for yourself. This one actually clings to the face and I needed to go get something and it stayed put the whole time. It's also two sections so a top and a bottom which I really like as well. It's "100% unique HydroGel material", which explains why it fits the face so well, and it deeply hydrates the skin. I like that I was able to tell when it was time to take it off because I didn't really feel that moisture anymore, and sure enough it was time to take it off and rub in the excess of the serum, which was super thin felt like water so there was no tacky or sticky feeling to it afterwards.
So I truly loved it. They also have a Radiance Boost brightening Hydrogel mask, a Deep Clean Purifying hydrogel mask, and a HydroBoost overnight gel mask and Deep Clean overnight gel mask. Would I get this again? 1000% yes, I will go purchase some this weekend actually because I think they're wonderful. If you want to go with a sheet mask or gel mask I will from now on probably point you in Neutrogena's direction.
