A while back we talked about a great new affordable skincare brand from Beautylish called Good Molecules. They are so affordable that some of the products are less that $10. You can get the original discovery set for $56 I believe, which is around 7 products or more? They've released new products and they sent me some to try and therefore we're here to talk about them.
Now with the first products they released I really loved, and still love, the majority of it. Especially the Peptide Serum, Hyaluronic Acid, and Exfoliating Serum. I still liked the other products but those are the ones that stood out the most for what I wanted in my routine.

They've expanded with a cleansing balm (YES!), a vitamin c, a brightening serum, and a correcting serum for uneven skin. The last 3 you can get in a set as the trio. The Instant Cleansing Balm is super affordable on it's own. So let's get into these new products.

Starting with the Cleansing Balm. I really love this. It comes with a spatula for you. It's a super affordable cleansing balm. It reminds me of Farmacy Green Clean but slightly different in how it changes upon contact with the skin. It changes to a "milk" when mixed with water. It's not going to be as rich as Drunk Elephant Cleansing balm/butter obviously which is sometimes a great thing depending what you need it for. It's leaves no residue behind but doesn't strip the skin.  It doesn't have a heavy feel at all. I think it's amazingly good. It has one of my favorite ingredients which is Sea Buckthorn oil. It also has Camellia Oil that I also enjoy very much in products and it has Shea Butter. I prefer this to be my first cleanse for removing makeup, etc. and it works great! I think they did a great job with this and I was begging for a cleansing balm. So well done.

Moving on to the Vitamin C  Booster Powder. This comes with a little tiny spoon so that you use the correct amount. The thought behind this is to have a completely stable pure Vitamin C which is why it's in a powder form because it's to be added to another treatment in your routine. I prefer to add it to Hyaluronic Acid serum. You can use it with other treatments but I wouldn't use it with Niacinamide or another Vitamin C product (obviously). It may tingle some if you aren't used to more potent Vitamin C but it goes away quickly.

Next is the Daily Brightening Serum which I really love. It layers beautifully because it's water based. It has Hyaluronic Acid in it as well. The brightening effect is coming from beta arbutin. I rarely hear people talk about beta arbutin but it  "works to inhibit excess melanin production for clear, even skin". It's a gentle way to brighten and even out the skin as well as hydrate it. It's been a great addition to my routine.

Lastly is the Discoloration Correcting Serum. It "improves discoloration in the skin" and "uneven skintone".  The claim of this is "Target skin discoloration and promote a clear skin tone with tranexamic acid, a brightening powerhouse derived from the amino acid lysine. Improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and texture, dullness, and enlarged pores with niacinamide" I'll be so honest here: I don't know a lot about tranexamic acid or lysine which is why I'm relying on the claim. This does have Niacinamide which I am very familiar with. I don't really have to use this one very much. I don't have many pigmentation issues right now but I think it's a good product to add to the line because many people have some pigmentation going on or they have pigmentation that can be brought out especially when they're in the sun or high temperatures. I have their Niacinamide serum from the first run/launch. So that's also why I don't really have to use this. I think it's a very nice addition to the line though.

I'm going to give you the prices now. As always they're extremely affordable.
  • Cleansing Balm: $15-$45 it comes in sets of single, duo, and trio. It's also in a full set with the rest of the discovery set.
  • Vitamin C Booster Powder: $8
  • Daily Brightening Serum: $9
  • Discoloration Correcting Serum: $12

Beautylish did send this to me. I will link to their website but they aren't affiliate links they're just there for your convenience. I didn't have to do a blog post, they didn't ask me for anything. So this isn't sponsored.
