Recently I've gotten quite a few makeup products and seeing as I talk a lot about skincare on here it seems, I thought it'd be nice to discuss them briefly and let you know how it's going.
So first off I've been getting a little more acquainted with Fenty. So I tried the Amber Matchstix. Which is the contour shade for fairer skin. It's the correct color of cream contour that I don't think I've ever found thus far. So this is a winner in my opinion. If you like cream contour I think you'd like this and this isn't the only contour shade mind you.
Fenty Foundation.....ok.....I first tried this with a sponge. It wasn't the best and my powder products seemed to disappear. I think it was more due to the moisturizer I had on underneath because I heard similar complaints. I then tried it with a smaller flat angled kabuki or "stippling" brush and that's when I got the full coverage. I used priming moisturizer this time. It did fantastic. I love it. Totally worth the hype. I've heard some people say it clings to dry patches but it didn't on me.
Fenty Uncensored Liquid Lip. I really love this. I don't like the applicator. I love the packaging and because of that I don't disagree with the price. However, I don't find the formula groundbreaking. It's beautiful but it's not incredibly different. So if you aren't here for it, trust me there is another product out there that is the same exact color.
Dior Undercover Foundation. Ummmmmm. I don't understand, I've heard nothing but good things about this. I've seen it look gorgeous on people. Yet, on me, it literally eats the rest of my makeup and then disappears. It's like a mythical creature in a product. Everything vanishes. I'm not a fan.
Wet N Wild Cushion Foundation. Really love it. Don't go by the packaging it looks much darker than it is. Medium coverage. Nice finish.
Wet N Wild Skinny Liquid Liner. Love it. I find it easier to do a winged liner more than ever with this. Can't beat the price either. It is felt tip for those who want to know.
LA Girl HD Pro Matte Foundation...again, no. It doesn't do anything on my skin and it's definitely not matte on me. I will say that I don't have good luck with L.A Girl face products though. I didn't do well with the first HD Foundation or the concealers.
Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer. Really nice. Very similar to Shape Tape only not as much coverage in my opinion right out the gate as Shape Tape has. Some do not find this buildable but I do. I actually like it much more than Shape Tape because it's not as dry as I find Tarte and it has a more natural finish so the under eye area looks much younger in my opinion.
I'm going to stop here. I have a few more things but I don't want you to be here all day. I don't generally like to give a first impression of skincare after just a few uses I like to give it a few weeks before I give you an opinion. So that's why you're not seeing any skincare in this.
I'm from Tennessee. I'm a makeup and skincare lover. I have always enjoyed creating looks but I love to help people with product knowledge and application even more. I've been able to do these things because God has seen fit to bless me with the opportunity.
