Not done a haul in a minute, so lets do one! I was going to wait until next week but I thought it would be best to do it now so that it's not super overwhelming and "too much" infomation. So this is going to be a skincare haul. Some of the stuff was sent so I will put * beside those so that you know. Some of these have been tried and some have not. Ok Starting with Sephora: I was lucky enough to shop the friends and family even a month early. Which I very much appreciated. So usually when it comes to discounts that hardly ever come I tend to get skincare that I've wanted for a really long time and value sets. Sunday Riley Bright Young Thing set: This has a .5 oz of Good Genes which is my first AHA love and also the best size for me due to how much I rotate acids and the shelf life that it has. It has .05 of C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum with 15% Vitamin C. I had a small sample of this and I used it when I traveled and I really liked it. I wasn't sure if I loved it though as opposed to more affordable options so thus that's why I bought this kit to test it out properly. It comes with a small deluxe size of their Tidal cream. Which I thought this whole time was a run of the mill moisturizer but no it's not. It's actually a water cream with Alpha Arbutin in it. Alpha Arbutin is a skin brightening treatment and I have a dedicated Alpha Arbutin serum from the Ordinary so I thought I just probably wouldn't be jazzed about Tidal, but I do believe I am. Tatcha Violet C Radiance Mask: I love this purple mask! I've went over this before. It has vitamin c properties but I find it quite gentle as a mask and very easy on the skin to use frequently. I really do love it. Plus, it's purple. I like the color purple. lol First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser and moisturizer duo: This was $10 and it's actually a stocking stuffer for someone else. I love this cleanser though and I love the moisturizer too but I feel like Cleanser is the better bet and gift for people because I'm kinda particular about my moisturizers (not kinda....very) so I don't like to gift a moisturizer unless I know you like it already. Where as cleansers I like gifting because I want to promote you using a gentle and mild cleanser and not stripping your skin. Moving on: The next two products are from Embryolisse. I get mine from Frends beauty. I never knew much about this brand except they were french skincare. I recently watched Stephanie Nicole's affordable skin routines for each skin type which I will link here, because it's so helpful and detailed and she put a lot of time and effort into it. She spoke about one of their products so thus I wanted to check it out myself. I got the apparently "cult favorite" MUA favorite moisturizer that is in their set case at all times. Which is the Lait Creme Concentre or as it says on the back the Multi-Function nourishing moisturizer. It says for all skin types. I've not had the chance to really put it to the test but so far so good. No real thought on it yet though. Can't say the same for the cleanser I got. Embryolisse Lait Creme Foaming Milk Cleanser. I LOVE IT. It's a soap free milk cleanser. Yes it does phone but it doesn't strip the skin and make the skin tight feeling. It's absolutely lovely and has been the best skin care item I have purchased in a while. I definitely recommend. I've used it with just a face cloth and then also with my Clarisonic with no issues.
Next is products that were sent to me by the lovely folks at Algenist. You know I love some Algenist. I think we're gonna have something really special coming up for you guys too around mid-november if everything goes well. *Multi-Perfecting Pore Corrector Gel Moisturizer (Oil Free). This is supposed to be a resurfacing moisturizer I do believe. It has salicylic acid in it and it is a gel-cream that absorbs fast, smoothes the roughness and brightens dull skin. "Enlarged pores and discoloration are visibly reduced for a more even, radiant, and smooth complexion" I really like this so far. It layers super easy and I've had no issues with it on my skin or applying it. *Algenist Splash Setting Spray. This I haven't gotten to use but once. I know that it can set makeup as well as being a facial mist. *Bi-Phase: This is what I was most interested in. This is an acid, and then a nourishing oil in one bottle that you shake together to mix. It comes with it's own cotton pads that are very thick. Definitely shake it together and shake it good. I've only tried this once so I can't really give you any updates except I definitely felt it. Not like "owwwww" but I felt the tingle. Very cool product and I'm excited to see what it can do. So that's it! That's the skincare haul so far. I may do a Sephora haul sometime in November.
