Caroline Hirons...Queen of Cleansers, Queen of Skincare, Queen of my heart (aside from my Mom. She's top spot)..I love her as you can tell. I've been watching her youtube channel for a few years now and reading the blog about that long as well I guess. Oprah is her Queen, she is mine. Today we're going to talk about a product Caroline collaborated with Pixi Beauty on which is her Double Cleanse, cleanser.

It makes so much sense to me that this is the product that she would come out with and also, that it'd be a 2 in 1 deal. Meaning one side is a solid cleansing oil to do your pre-cleanse and the other side is a cream cleanser to properly clean your face with. She is the person who introduced me to double cleansing as part of my routine and it only made sense that her first product would be this.

Let's get into the review shall we? Firstly, the solid oil side is nearly half empty already and there is a huge dent in the cream so I've been using it a lot. As you know I like to rotate cleansers out so that I'm using everything. Basically....this is great. I mean both formulas are exactly what I want in a balm and a proper cream cleanser. They're both in the same pot/jar/container with a divider in between. I don't think I've seen a double cleanse on the market or at least not one like this. I've not seen a cleanser that was 2 actual cleansers in the same container. I could be forgetting some but I really don't think I am and if I am they obviously didn't make too much of an impression on me.

How I would word this, aside from it just being a very good solid cleansing oil and very good cream cleanser in one, that you can't go wrong with, is if you're needing something that's affordable but works, is in one container so you save space and not grabbing 10 products for your routine, will work for morning and night then here you go. Pixi is sold in Target and online so it's easy to get your hands on. I think this is ideal for teens and up. Both the oil and cleanser are very gentle. The balm breaks down all my makeup and I've been known to wear some heavy makeup with winged liner, lashes, brows, the whole nine. The cream is my favorite texture of cream cleanser. It's soft, it's gentle, it's not drying in the least, and it leaves your skin comfortable. If you don't need to double cleanse at night if you've not worn makeup or sunscreen that day cool just cream cleanse, in the morning just cream cleanse if you want. This is wonderful cause they work amazingly well on their own and beautifully together as well. I actually would love it if just the cream cleanser was sold in a large squeeze tube. I'm that in love with it. If you're wondering if Pixi's Nourishing Cleansing Balm is the same as the Solid Oil Cleanser in this, they are not. I actually much prefer the ingredients in this product than I do the Nourishing Cleansing Balm.
