Hey guys... I don't know if you've been involved yet in the " #skincaresunday" movement amongst all of the bloggers it seems like lol, but it's my favorite thing to do so far. I think Sunday's, at least for me, have always been kinda like my "me time" or my "detox day". It's the day I'm by far the most relaxed, and it's just a lovely time. Of course there are those days, that just suck. You come home....maybe you met a rude person, maybe you fell over a lawn mower and busted your face on the cement basement floor like myself. Yes, you read that right....also, for those wondering, no major injuries lol. Anyway, I'm here to tell you how I chill out and what I do to de-stress and take care of myself.
I bring you another Holy Grail product. Honestly, it's pretty much everyone's Holy Grail though that tries it. It is quickly becoming a cult favorite and it is Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum. I'm going to try to make this a quick post not because it doesn't deserve hundreds and hundred of words, just because there is so many ingredients in it, that it kinda speaks for itself.
Let's talk makeup. I recently got to try some more products from Touch in Sol. I've tried a few of their products before but this time I got to try their mascara and a different color in their Metallist Foil eye shadow duo. I had one but they sent me a different color so I thought it'd be neat to see how consistent the formula was. So lets get on with it!
I've been promising a review to you for a while on the Drunk Elephant C Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream and today is that day! I like to be as thorough as I can when reviewing skincare. I've used this everyday for over 6 weeks now. I mainly use it at night but you can use it am and pm. This has been the first product that I've refused to take out of rotation in order to use other products. That is monumental for me because I'm constantly rotating products so that I'll use what I have, and not let it just sit there forgotten.
I have good news! A brilliant vegan skincare brand is have an really great offer for Memorial Day Weekend. You get a free Atmosphere Cream with any purchase of $125 or more fro OSEA. I've never talked about OSEA on here before so lets get acquainted shall we?
Time for another empties post! I tend to think there is not a better way to see how you really feel about something until you've used it completely. We have a little bit of everything in here so lets get to it.
Jose Eber Hair was so kind to send me the Trio 3 in 1 interchangeable curling wand. With 3 different sized tourmaline ceramic barrels. I had never had a proper curling wand, I'd always use my regular curling iron and just wrapped my hair around it. Even then I wasn't very good at it because I'd burn myself. This however is much easier. It comes with a glove so you don't burn yourself which I very much needed and the shape of the barrels make the curls so much prettier.
Let's discuss the new, probably gonna be cult classic, Kate Somerville Cold Cream Cleanser. I recently got this while Kate Somerville was doing the Friends and Family sale. I read Caroline Hiron's blog religiously, and I suggest you do the same, and she actually had an offer for it that was 30% off instead of 20% or 25% which is what it typically is. So I got this with 30% off and I was very happy about that.
Recently I got sent some of Neutrogena's HydroGel masks and also a sleeping mask to try out. The one that you'll be seeing is the HydroBoost gel mask which is my favorite line from Neutrogena. I use their HydroBoost cleanser all the time. It's in constant rotation in my routine. I think the line is especially good if you're dehydrated. I tend to put a difference between having dry skin and having actual dehydrated skin. I won't get into all the reasoning in this but dry skin might be flaky or areas of dryness and it might just mainly be on the epidermis and effected by certain things like weather, or a product that's very drying and so on. Dehydrated is the dry and tight feeling along with the skin literally drinking up product very fast, the skin isn't plump, it may look quite dull, so on. I think there is far more skin that is dehydrated than most people realize and it's typically the first thing that any facialist or professional would treat during a facial or session.
Hope you all have had a really good week, let's end it on a good note with my favorite hair products. As you know, with body care I don't branch out much. Same goes for hair, I like what I like and I don't like changing things up that often. Mainly because I feel like these products do a fairly good job at keeping my hair healthy and manageable. Everyone is different though so you may need something different entirely.
I'm a makeup and skincare lover. I have always enjoyed creating looks but I love to help people with product knowledge and application even more. I've been able to do these things because God has seen fit to bless me with the opportunity.
