Recent Skincare Faves

This is gonna be my skincare favorites, as of late. The previous post was my makeup faves. I split them up so I could discuss the products more and it wouldn't be super long.
First Aid Beauty Coconut Micellar Makeup Melter. This is both cooling like a water cream almost and does a nice job of getting makeup off. I use this as a pre-cleanse. I just really enjoy it man, I think I've told you everything you need to know. Although, I do want to say that I do not really agree with leaving micellar waters (which this isn't a liquid in no way) on your face, as in using them as your legit cleanse. How bout.....no. Use them to remove makeup and then properly cleanse your skin with a cleanser, not a micellar water. *dive bombs off soap box* Just to be clear that't not what FAB is pushing for with this product, it's marketed more as a makeup remover in my opinion.

Whamisa Organic Flower Facial Oil. This is an oil of extracts and ferments. I wish they'd fill this bottle up a little more but, hey whatever. This is what I would consider a lighter feeling oil. I think it absorbs fairly quick for all the other oils I try. As far as oils go, I don't think it's very expensive, especially for all the stuff the pack in this. They've re-packaged apparently so I have the bottle you're seeing above. It's 98% organic, which I always appreciate from Whamisa for being quite transparent about that. This "contains Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Corylus Avellana (Hazel) seed Oil". You know I'm a huge fan of Camellia oil in anything.  It also holds Carrot seed, another favorite of mine, more oils and flower ferments filtrates. I've seen this several places, and it seems like the price I keep seeing is $40. Which in comparison to other oils is good. For instance: Vintners Daughters  for 30 ml (I think ) is $185, Sunday Riley Oils which are 35mls range from $80-$105 depending on which one you want, Drunk Elephant Marula Oil for 30 ml is $75. So this is 30 ml for $40 and I think that's pretty good.  I heard Gothamista talking about this and I was sold.

OSEA Cleansing Milk and Hyaluronic Sea Serum.  Holy crap. OSEA is doing the most right now. Or maybe they always have been. I love everything I try but these 2 have not left my routine at all since I got them. The Cleansing Milk is super gentle, non foaming and lovely. The Sea Serum its almost like gel drops, 2 drops will cover the face, promise. I thought I would need a half a dropper at least. Man was I wrong. Happily wrong though, because it means it'll last so much longer. I think this brand is so overlooked. I have a brand overview coming up actually about OSEA since I have quite a few products of theirs.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Serum. This saved my ass when my skin went through a dehydrated phase. This and the OSEA Sea Serum actually. The new products to the Rose line which is this, the Deep Hydration Toner and Deep Hydration Face Cream are all lovely. They're very lightweight and absorb quickly but it doesn't just evaporate and leave your skin feeling tight. Therefore, I'm loving them. I recommend the Deep Hydration Serum especially if you're going through a dehydrated spell. I love the Deep Hydration Face Cream too, but the Face Serum is where it's at.  It layers so well. It works very fast. I usually don't use this in the same routine as the OSEA Sea Serum just because I don't think they're both necessary at the same time, because of all the other hydration products I'm using. So I will use either morning or night, or rotate it with the OSEA Sea Serum.

Alrighty that's it. Those are my stand outs. I've loved plenty of things but these made an impression on me.
