Alright Too Faced......you didn't come to play did you? So if you've not heard, which I can't imagine why you wouldn't have, everyone is talking about the new Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi Use concealer (that's the official name on Sephora, don't know why it says Sculpting Concealer on the bottle). There is another Born This Way concealer that I personally disliked but they've launched this one in just the past few weeks and nearly every person that has tried it has loved it. Including me.
In short here's what I can sum it up as. It's like a brand new bottle of Tarte Shape Tape only a touch more moisturizing and somehow, someway, doesn't settle into my fine lines hardly at all. It has a lot of coverage but what I've noticed is that even if you use very little or if you do an entire triangle on your face, it blends out so nice. The finish is more like a satin finish in my opinion it's definitely full coverage but in no way does it look heavy to me. It's not super matte. I personally don't have to set this very much with powder. Which is great because that's my concealer downfall.  So the reason I brought up Shape Tape is because 1). I think it's taking the crown for "best concealer" 2) it has a similar applicator which is a large doefoot and it has similar coverage as Shape Tape. I just happen to like the finish better and how it performs as opposed to Shape Tape.

You get 15ml in this, like I said you still have a pretty bulky wand but also the packaging is quite bulky too. However, Shape Tape gives you nearly 10 ml, NARS Radiant is 6 ml, and Urban Decay Naked Skin is 5 ml. The price for this at 15 ml is $29. Shape Tape at 10 ml is $27, NARS is 6 ml for $30, Urban Decay is 5 ml for $29. So I feel like you're getting quite a bit for the price. You're certainly getting more bang for your buck compared to the big cult favorites in Sephora. The bottle of this looks like a medium size bottle of foundation in all honesty, but again it holds half an ounce of product so I'm not going to complain. To compare, typically foundation is 1 oz or 30ml. There are 20 shades in this range.  I have shade Vanilla which is the 5th shade. I could've went a shade lighter I think, but I had a tan at the time. It still works just fine.

I believe them when they say this is multi-use because I wore this to a cook out the other day with nothing else but moisturizer and because it blends so perfectly and the finish it so lovely it looked like I just had a great complexion. I think that's really the key though is that this blends like no concealer I've ever seen, even better than the Urban Decay Naked Skin which was a whole new formula when it launched. Also, again because of the blending, it works with every foundation. I'm not a fan of the Born This Way foundation, I'm just not. I have used this with Marc Jacobs, Catrice, a cc cream, etc. and it's worked great with all of them.

I'm not a huge fan Too Faced fan, only because their collections have been a little too "child like" in my opinion. You know me, #savetheunicorns, #savethemermaids. I love majestic stuff just as much as the next person but I get tired of seeing these collections looking like they came from the toy section. It's not just Too Faced that does it by no means. In general, I'm just tired of $50 palettes looking like it leapt out of a Care Bear's ass. So this is refreshing to see. I also really liked their latest Natural Face Palette. I done a review on it as well, so they have been doing a little better in my opinion about widening the brand to fit different needs and also different tastes.

This particular product though I really like. Like I said I don't care for the other Born This Way concealer which I think is called Naturally Radiant, it just didn't do enough in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the Born This Way Foundation. I don't know if they relaunched it with this but I gave mine away just because it wasn't hardly what I was looking for. It wasn't terrible by any means, I just didn't like how it looked on me. So I'm saying that to let you know I'm not on board with the entire Born This Way line, but I am 100% on board with the new concealer. You can find this at Sephora, ULTA, and Toofaced.com.

I'm not affiliated with Too Faced in anyway, they don't send me any PR or products. I bought mine at ULTA. Compared to the other concealers that I have and do really like, I find this better than all of them on many different levels but the main level being performance wise.
