Sorry I've been MIA for a minute, I really don't feel well so I've been trying to rest the past few days. Today's makeup just kinda happened and I know it's very similar to other things I've done but I really love these colors. Let's get this out of the way, I love this boutique. They are very different from the other boutiques you see online. There stuff is always unique. My favorite is their dresses I love their dresses so much. I've just recently started buying their tops. They have sexy but not too over the top sexy clothes in my opinion. The dresses can get super sexy but I usually think there is a time and a place for everything so I have no problem with that. I just can't tell you how much I adore this site. They do flash sales every couple months. Lots of times anywhere from 60-75% off for 24-48 hrs. So sign up for their emails to get notified for that. It's usually the items they pick that are on sale but considering I love almost everything from their store I'm usually down for anything they put on sale. You have to act fast though if you're going to order from the sale though because it sells out quickly. You can also get free domestic shipping from them with the code "#lovedainty". So go check them out. You have Erin's seal of approval. High waist dark skinny jeans from AE since this top is a wrap top there is no fabric in the center so you can see your stomach certain ways that you move. So I used high waist jeans since it's cold I didn't want much skin at all showing. Camel Studded Pyramid Heels. These are available at Urbanog, Go Jane, and Agaci. These are Valentino Rockstud inspired heels. They are wildly popular and of course other companies have started imitating it and I really love these. Wire Gemstone Bangles from The Boutique. Monogram Watch from Etsy. The makeup for the series is of course Olive incorporated as well. The whole look may not be totally olive but it's all complimentary anyway.
The first look on the top left is from 10/13 Olive Green Makeup post. It's using Coastal Scents hot pot shadow Olive Wood. There is not many olive shadows out there and certainly not in palettes really, but definitely not a lot of good mattes that are olive. This color is a good one. Super complimentary for brown eyes and a good neutral anyway. The second look on the top right is from 10/29 Date Night Bo-Ho look. It's a soft neutral eye and the bottom lash line is an olive type glitter. It's a pigment from Makeup Geek called Utopia. It's a great pigment, it's a nice change from gold glitters and pigments because believe it or not gold's are not always super flattering depending on which tone you use. The bottom left look is from 10/22 Jeweled Green post. This one is a emerald color on top and a bright light green/olive on the bottom. Emerald green colors are hard to pull of in a true emerald tone they're either too light or too dark but this one was fantastic. You can check that post out for how I got the correct tone but for this look we're going to focus on the olive tones. The bottom lash line I used Morphe Brushes Smokey Palette light greens and built the color up. When paired with the dark green it really looks more olive and very noticeable which I liked. The bottom right is actually from my Tumblr blog before I moved everything here. It's called Mossy Green Fall Makeup. I used Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Khaki. It's a great base for neutral smokey colors anyway considering it's kinda dark but it also has gold tones and warm browns. You can easily see olive in it just as you can gold and brown so for that reason it will work for so many different looks. I love the Caviar Sticks anyway they are by far my favorite cream shadows. I should really get some more. Maybe I will. I used It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty This series is obviously all about olive and army green. The military vibe is huge right now and usually I'm never a fan of that but this year I really am. So I found some great pieces and then busted out some super old pieces and had a good time. The first picture top left is an olive shirt I found at Rue 21 if you'll scroll on down or go to the fashion categories you can find the entire post for all the details of the look. It's a dolman tunic shirt in a true Olive tone. Very neutral. Looks so good with camel colors can be dressed up or down and super light weight. The second picture is a camo shirt that's so old it's got the really really soft feel to it. It was probably my husbands shirt from when he was younger and I stole it because I never recall owning anything camo. That post is also in the fashion category if you want the other details from the look. The third picture on top im obsessed with. The vest is from Lucy and Lyla a online boutique that I recently found through groopdealz. The vest is the typical military vibe with the soft slick like material. I love this look it's so different from typical fall looks. Everyone goes toward sweaters and boots and legging which is awesome and I love that too but this is great when it's not incredibly cold yet just a little cool and you want to still embrace fall. I just can't say enough good things about it. I got this very quickly too. I think I ordered it on like a Tuesday or something and got it on Friday. So check out their site they have some really good pieces. This post is also in the fashion category. The bottom left is my beloved Coach sunglasses in Olive. They are about 3 years old and not on the site anymore but they were the perfect olive color and I'm so glad I got them even though olive wasn't a popular choice then. They're just beyond perfect The bottom right is a nail polish color from OPI called "Uh Oh Roll Down The Window" which I hate that name because who would want to paint their nails that color when thats the name of it. Just bad thoughts friends. Anyway, aside from the name it's a great neutral green color. It's more army green in my opinion definitely not as muted as olive. So that's my picks for fashion and I hope you're fall is going great. It's snowing here. 😊 So today while I was running around doing Halloween makeup I busted out my black and edgy looking clothes to embrace the holiday fun. Outfit Sweater from The Boutique (obsessed) Dark Skinnies Black suede gold toe pumps from Jessica Simpson Black Sequin Watch from Guess Hoops from Henri Bendel I'd like to point out that I mixed metals with this look. The sweater has silver detailing on the back. My shoes have gold. My watch has silver. My hoops are gold with silver pieces. I think it's so cool when you're doing something more edgy and dark, mix in different metals and it just adds to the edginess. Happy Halloween! So today I had to go to the dr. I hate going to the dr and unfortunately that's something I have to do a lot. So I put on my best face (literally) and rally on. Eyes: Morphe Brushes Smokey Palette Maybelline Gel Liner Sephora Outrageous Curl Mascara ABH Dip Brow Face: MUFE HD Foundation in 117 ABH Contour Kit Benefit Coralista Blush Lips: MAC Flamingo lipstick MAC Wonderstruck lustre glass Outfit: Polka Dot Black Cardigan from J.Crew Pink Linen Pants from Old Navy (so comfy) Black Caroline Flats from Tory Burch Wire bangles from The Boutique and KBJonesstones on Etsy Diamond studs from my baby. 💗 So I'm starting a date night series as you can see because that's probably my favorite thing to get ready for, is a date. I enjoy everything from fixing my hair to dressing up extra cute and doing my makeup smokey and soft or smokey and dark.

I found a mixture on Pinterest for it. 1 cup warm water 1/2 tsp of cocount oil 1 tsp conditioner 1 tsp sea salt 1 squirt of gel (I used 2 or 3 though) Mix in spray bottle and spray. I sprayed mine on air dried hair that I had slept on over night so it was already kinda curly. Then I used Paul Mitchell Hot off the Press hairspray while it was wet then L'Oreal Boost It Spray after it dried. Since Halloween is this Friday, I wanted to do something festive but not super crazy and intricate.
