 So with the "basics" of skincare steps out of the way I'm going to start with extra steps or treatments that could be beneficial to you or you may not like the idea at all. It's completely up to you. I always say "every skin has it's own cocktail". So whatever works for Sally may not provide the same result for Suzie. I'm going to start the "treatments" portion with "Acid Toning". I will be referring to them as AHA's and BHA's. I'll try to make this as plain spoken and as short as I can but bear with me.

 It's well past time for a "Why Isn't Anyone Talking About This?" post. I've had a lot of skincare posts and campaigns lately and I love skincare probably more than any other "thing" or "possession" I have. I also love makeup though just as much, and sometimes that line gets a little blurred. Makeup was what started this blog and this journey so just wanted to clear that up.
This time we're gonna talk about a product that I've actually been using for months. I kept waiting for everyone to start talking about it but no one ever did really. Or not that I've seen. I've only heard it mentioned a few times here and there. It's the Bare Minerals Invisible Bronze powder bronzer. Baked powder to be exact.  For a while, I've been slowly trying the May Lindstrom line of products. I say slowly because they are quite expensive but everything from ingredients to packaging is beautiful about them. I truly, truly feel like May Lindstrom is an artist, and maybe a magician in some cases with the way she blends together unbelievable concoctions to not just help the skin and nourish the skin but also to appeal to the senses as well. You can't help but feel relaxed.
As you know, I love Neostrata. I've talked about them and their other companies (ie: Exuviance) several times. They make some of my favorite products. In my opinion they are number 1 in skincare. They're constantly breaking new ground in the skincare community. New technology, clinical trials, new complexes and ingredients, they constantly amaze me with what they continue to do.
I recently got the opportunity to try Hydropeptide's new product called Nimni Cream, which is an amino acid, vitamin c, and retinol blend/complex. A pretty potent one to be clear. One of the biggest features of this is the Patented Collagen Support Complex which is the blend of amino acids that it has. This product is way more than meets the eye. I suggest you read all of this to really appreciate what it can do for your skin.
 I've not done a foundation review in a while so let's talk about a new "drug store" one I picked up recently. I'm gonna be the first to tell you that I am not the biggest fan of Covergirl makeup. Nothing personal at all it just never has worked out for me. There will however be a special place in my heart for my first compact (and piece of makeup) which was from Covergirl. So there is that.
 Today I'd like to talk about self tanner. Some that I really love, or I'm really enjoying so far. Also, will mention a few that I don't really care for or they just didn't do well for me as the others. I use self tanner quite a bit, if you ever see me really tan then it's usually a "faux tan". I'm a big fan of "spray tans" like the booth spray tans of Mystic Tan or Versa Spa for all over tan. I usually do that for events. The others I'm going to list is for at home use.
 Alright the next installment of absolute necessity, meaning you should be using it no matter what, is SPF. I know, I know, you've heard it all your life, you don't need reminded, you know what it prevents, blah blah blah blah. Well regardless, we're gonna discuss it. Because some people still don't use it like they should, meaning in the winter, when it's overcast, they don't apply it correctly, and they don't re-apply.
 Ok soooooo why is everyone putting Baking Soda on their face?
