We're in the midst of the Sephora Friends and Family Sale right now and I must say this is like Christmas for me. So I always recommend your Buying Guide from products that I have tried and tested so that I'm not pointing in the dark.
However, I love to hear what people are going to buy as well. So I thought I'd give you my list of products I'm interested in. To start let me just say I try not to buy products that are also available at ULTA. Only because they do 20% off all the time especially around now and I like their point system better.

I was trying to think of a good post for today. I thought that I would tell you my favorite cleansers as of late. It's getting colder. The air is getting drier. I've been doing a ton of Halloween makeup so my skin has had a beating almost but not as bad because the cleansers that I've been using the most lately have been so effective but also so gentle. They've not dried my skin out. It's made this transition into colder weather so much easier.
Welcome to the second installment of the Sephora Friends and Family Buying Guide. This one will be all about skincare. I feel like skincare should get the majority of your attention but I do know that for a lot of people makeup seems more fun. However, being the skincare nerd that I am, I find them both exciting.
Lets get into it. Well folks, it's about that time for the Sephora Friends and Family Sale. Which usually rolls around about this time of year. I use this sale mainly for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers from the travel section because....why not? I also use it to stock up on things I know that I'll re-buy like favorite foundations, any skincare favorites like cleansers or staples. I usually wait until this sale or anytime I have gift cards to buy things that I don't purchase very much at all like perfume.
So per usual I'm going to give you my buying guide. I've done this for several years where I recommend not necessarily "new" products, but products I've tested and liked through out the year and feel comfortable recommending. Of course, if there is anything you've had your eye on, now would be the time to buy it.
About a 3 weeks ago Neutrogena was kinda enough to send me their Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment tool. I refer to it as my "light pen". Lately, blue light therapy is being discussed much more in the skin care community. I hadn't tried any until now.
According to claims: "Blue light works to kill the bacteria and red light reduces inflammation, so your skin looks clearer and calmer." This is even better to travel with. It's best to use it 3 times a day. I don't have acne but I do have bumps that pop up occasionally especially right now with all the Halloween looks I'm doing. So I've used this quite a bit. I do find that it reduces the redness and inflammation around a spot or a breakout. Hello again! It's time for another Allure box and I must say this did not disappoint! As always I will leave my affiliate link on the post, yes I do get money if you use it, no this isn't sponsored or "required" for me to post about.
Guys.....I'm going to be yet another person to tell you about the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define foundation that they recently released. I'm going to give you some details and also I will start by saying this is one of the best foundations I've tried in 2018. No joke. So far I only have about 3 foundations that I've tried this year among many, that I am in love with it. So lets talk about it.
Hey guys! I'm here today to talk about a hair treatment with you. Before we get into it this post is sponsored, they sent me the product. So with that being said, I'm going to talk about NuTree and it's the Brazilian Bottox Expert Thermo Mutli-Control Mask. Just for reference I have sapphire and emerald in my hair and I've always had dark hair. I recently got the jewel tones in my hair refreshed (Thanks Poodle) and it was a 5 hour long day, a double process on my really long hair, and many treatments to keep my hair intact after going through all of that. So, although I try to keep my hair really healthy in general and not use much heat on it or anything, it of course still gets damaged.
