This week my stand out product is L'Occitane Almond Indulgence Duo. This was recommended to me by my friend Emily so when I seen they had a set I decided to get it. Plus it was only $10. The shower oil was the reason I was buying it but it also came with body oil as well. The shower oil lathers when it comes in contact with water. It smells amazing and not over powering. It immediately softens the skin and keeps it soft. The body oil is a little stronger and fruity in scent but still not overpowering. If I had to pick one it would be the shower oil because the body oil while fantastic does feel greasy for a few minutes but I can deal with that. Right now this little duo is just $10 cause it's travel size but these products are also reward perks from Sephora both 100 pt and 500 pt. Have a great week!!

This is my go to smokey eye "technique" the color sometimes differs from, pinks, taupes, or bronze. In this one its a pink lid highlight. On the eyes Using Anastasia Beverly Hills single shadows. Dusty Rose is in my crease using a big fluffy brush. Because my lid color is going to be in the mauve, pink, and purple family I used this color for the mauvey color it has. Smoke is on the outer and inner lid using a pencil brush. I keep color away from the center and there will be some color that gets on it of course but I don't actually place any one it and I use a small brush when apply shadow to the surrounding areas. Deep Plum is over Smoke on the outer lid and worked slightly into the crease. Using a clean blending brush I blend my crease again. Once I lay down my center color Im not going to blend as much so that I don't disrupt the color. Pink Champagne is like liquid metal so using my finger I apply it to the center. I let it go slightly over the darker colors so it blends but I don't put it on the entire lid as hopefully you can see. I put it over Too Faced Glitter Glue just for some extra hold. The lower lashline is Dusty Rose and Deep Plum over top brought all the way in. Red Cherry Lashes. Face: Diorskin Star Foundation ABH Contour Kit Hourglass Ambient Blush in Luminous Flush Lips Gerard Cosmetics lipstick in 1995. Today's makeup is all matte and and purple. Both eyes and lips. Sephora Outrageous Curl Mascara ABH Dip Brow Face: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Smashbox Radiance Blush ABH contour kit Lips: MAC Smoked Purple matte lipstick. Outfit: Vest from The Mint Julep Sweatshirt from J Crew Dark Jeans Cognac Ankle Booties from Rue 21 Wire Bangles from The Boutique Stud Earrings from Kate Spade Scarf from Gap Sunglasses from Betsey Johnson Yes, I bought another Anastasia Beverly Hills palette. No, I'm not sorry. Because they're so good!! This palette is more of the Ultra Mattes than anything. One titanium and one velvet I believe. They are beyond my expectation of matte eyeshadow. Good Lord people it's insane the pigment and how smooth they are. My favorite formula is still the Velvets but with Ultra Mattes being a close 2nd. Shadow left to right on the palette are top to bottom on the swatches: Blanc: Ivory but it can actually be seen on the skin not because of the color because of the formula that allows it to lay and stay on the skin without being buffed away or fading. Metal: titanium. It's a silver-gold. But it has a bit of a light green cast to me. None the less it's gorgeous. I'm wearing it in the look I did in this post. Deep Plum: almost like a brown a little bit. It's a bit burgundy. It's super dark but still holding its color. Violet: a true purple. It's rich but still vibrant. Bengal: Velvet. The formula is butter naturally. It's a really good medium warm brown. Similar to bobbi brown Camel. Maybe with a bit more terracota in it. It's fantastic in the crease. Red Earth: dark warm brown. One of my favorites. Smoke: dark cool brown. Charcoal brown almost. Awesome if you don't want to use a black. Noir: black. Midnight black. Blackest black. Blacker than black. Get the point? The eye look: ABH shadows in Bengal (crease) Metal (lid) Red Earth (outer corner and crease) Deep Plum (outer corner lashline and lid) Blanc (brow bone) Makeup Geek Immortal Gel Liner ABH dip brow in Medium Brown Face: Diorskin Star Foundation ABH Contour Kit MUG Blush in Spellbound Lips: MAC Soar Lipliner Today's makeup wasn't intended to be inspired by anything but as it turns out it reminds me of peacock feathers so there's that. Lol. Happy Thanksgiving eve to everyone I hope you have a wonderful time with loved ones over the next few days. Eyes: ABH Shadows in Electro, Dragonfly, and Fresh Peach MUG shadows in Envy and Corrupt and the Insomnia pigment over top in the center of the lid MUG Immortal gel liner ABH Dip brow in Medium Brown Red Cherry Lashes in 213 Face: Diorskin Star Foundation in 021 ABH Contour Kit MUG blush in Bliss Lips: OCC liptar in Hush Marc Jacobs lipgloss in Kissability Outfit Sweater from AE two years ago Dark Jeans from AE Sparkly flats from AE 😳 lol Bracelets from The Boutique Tortoise studs from Kate Spade Today's makeup is inspired by Khloe Kardashian's makeup last night at the AMAs. The thing that attracted me to it was the nude-taupe lip she had. I really liked that it was almost a lavender nude. It's a nice switch from what you usually see. Eyes: Lorac Pro Palette colors Bronze, Gold, Pewter, Sable, Taupe and Mauve MAC Cosmetics pigment in Tan for the inner corner and inner lid and inner lower lashline Lumikki Cosmetics pigment in Forbidden Love for the amythest color you see on the lower lashline. Red Cherry Lashes in 213 ABH dip brow in Medium Brown Face: dr Jart+ black label detox beauty balm Diorskin star foundation in 021 ABH contour Kit Hourglass Ambient Blush in Dim Infusion Laura Mercier highlight in 01 Lips: Dip brow in Medium Brown Gerard Cosmetics in Buttercup mixed both of those. This week my stand out product is Anastasia Beverly Hills single shadow in Dusty Rose. It's already sold out online but it's supposed to be in stock soon. This is part of their Velvet line, and folks it's like buttah. BUTTAH. It's so soft almost creamy and what is so crazy is that while it's perfect for the crease and easy to blend it's potent like crazy meaning if you put this over another shadow it will almost cover it up entirely. Which I think is really really cool as far as eyeshadows go but it's something you should keep in mind. It's best as base color instead of layering it over colors to make a new one. Have a great week! Yesterday in the mail was some new Makeup Geek products, which was enough motivation for me to do my makeup after two days of being really sick. Eyes: ABH Shadows: Fresh Peach, Dusty Rose, Pink Champagne, Mermaid MUG: Insomnia pigment MUG: Immortal gel liner Red Cherry Lashes in 213 ABH dip brow in Medium Brown Face: Dr Jart+ Black Label Detox Beauty Balm Diorskin Star Foundation in 021 Nars Creamy Concealer in Vanilla ABH Contour Kit Benefit Coralista blush Lips: YSL lipstick in #3 Beige Ultimate When I feel under the weather, I always go mess with my makeup and do dramatic costume makeup to get my mind off being sick. I get so caught up in the details that before I know it I am either ready for bed or feeling better. So tonight I worked on my pop art makeup. As always I use eyeliner to detail. The eyeshadow is Electro from Anastasia Beverly Hills. The lashes are Red Cherry Lashes in 46 I believe. The lips are BH Cosmetics Coral Escape. The foundation is actually Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 210 and I really liked how it applied and the finish. |
