I am a creature of habit when it comes to body products. Everything from toothpaste, soap, hand soap even, but definitely body and hair products. Which is why I don't talk about them that much because they don't change often, hardly ever. I have no problem trying products but I'm very particular about heavy scents, a greasy residue, etc. etc.

It's getting to be warmer weather, which ultimately means you'll probably be outside more. Disclaimer**of course you should wear sunblock everyday** . However, the subject of how to take care of our skin whilst in the sun always comes up more frequently during the spring. So today we're talking about Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 33. I'm going to insert the company claim first. Ingredients will be at the bottom.
I got sent an Influenster box to test out the Grande Lash products from Grande Cosmetics, which is a Mascara, Primer, and MD Lash Serum. I've tried many serums so I wasn't super hopefully but I did like that the mascara and primer both contributed to your lashes growing faster or at the very least looking better. I've been using it for a month. So let's talk about it.
This has been an advertising line for as long as I can remember "get's rid of dark circles." then it went to "lessen's the appearance of dark circles". So I wanted to discuss if that can actually be done.
This will be short and sweet hopefully. I now have a new favorite liquid lip. It's very surprising as well but it's Flower Beauty's Miracle Matte Lip. My friend Savannah turned me on to these. So I went to Wal-Mart and got two.
As you know, I'm a die hard fan of some makeup and skincare. Skincare took the lead a few years ago though and I've never looked back. I was never this obsessed as I am now. I love learning about it, I love using it, I love seeing what people can come up with and what products can transform your skin. I actually have a picture from before my blog ever was a thought and I lived at home thinking I had a real hoarding issue with skincare. Put that beside my skincare shelf now.....and well, there's a difference we'll just say that.
Listen, I'm not a music festival type of person. I am a fall festival type of person where I can get funnel cakes and caramel apples. However, I know that many of you are. Everything from Coachella to Country Music Festivals. I'm from Tennessee and we have the CMA Fan Fest. So there are plenty of opportunities to go to one usually.
Today's blog post is going to be about two products that I find very similar. It's the Milk Cooling Water Stick and Elf Prep and Hydrate Balm. The Milk Cooling Water stick is $24 for 1.2 oz and $14 for .12 oz. The Elf Prep and Hydrate Balm is $8 for .51 oz.
I thought it might be a cool post to talk about the palettes I reach for the most here lately. I talk a lot of skincare on here so I'm gonna switch to makeup for this one.
Once in a while you come into contact with a hero product, a holy grail, a best of the best. It doesn't happen too often but it does happen. I have a new holy grail product to add to the list now! Which is the SOS Dry Mask from The Granola Goat.
You know I love The Granola Goat products so much, I love Liz the owner she's a rock star and my botanical guru. She makes the most simplistic and effective "clean" products I've ever seen. I've never been disappointed by one of her products yet. |
ErinI'm from Tennessee. I'm a makeup and skincare lover. I have always enjoyed creating looks but I love to help people with product knowledge and application even more. I've been able to start blogging and do these things I love because God has seen fit to bless me with the opportunity. Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me! Categories
