Part 2 of My Favorite Products from 2017 is going to be makeup. I've tried quite a bit of new products and have some clear faves. I always appreciate it when there are clear stand out products that really hold top spot as a favorite. Lets go down the line. For foundation I really have loved the Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation. It's really nice. I know, I know comparable to Fenty and has only 4 shades. It is $10 though and thus that's why I've not bought Fenty. Some people have an issue with a scent with this, either I just don't notice it or it doesn't bother me but I listened to Jen Luvs Reviews and she couldn't wear it due to the scent but I swear I don't think mine has one. It says it's mattifying but I really find it to make the skin look like healthy skin. Not dewy, not matte. A full coverage go to has been the Marc Jacobs Re-Marcable foundation. Applicator is weird guys....fix that. Give me a pump. Concealer has actually been Arbonne Concealer in fair I think and also as of late Tarte Aquacealer because my under eye has needed the extra moisture. This does a fantastic job for me but I know it's not everyone's fave. Pressed Powder has been the Amazing Cosmetics Velvet Mineral Powderset. It's so nice and light weight. I love setting the under eye and face with this. Loose Powder has been Mustaev Silky Cotton loose powder. It doesn't cling to anything or get into fine lines I adore this for under the eye as well. Blush has been either Becca blushes or The Balm. I've really loved the Balm Desert which is marketed as "bronzer/blush" and the brighter/bolder shades from Becca both Luminous and Mineral lines in particular Nightingale. I'm well aware its terrifying in the pan and when you see swatches but give a deep or bold blush a go especially if you're tan or really like bronzer. It actually amplifies the bronzer. Bronzer.....I mean I think we know what I'm going to say. Bare Minerals Invisible Bronzer. I love this. I've talked about it numerous times. Nothing takes it's place. Perfect undertone. Highlight I've really loved the Fenty Killawatt Dual Highlighters. They are lovely. You get to choose how intense you want your highlight too because they're different finishes. I really dig that. Brows have been precision pencils again. For most of the year I used Senna Cosmetics brow pencil but also wen't back to ABH Brow Wiz and most recently tried he Chella brow pencil that is the same style as the other 2. Eyeshadow is JD Glow all the way because of their insane pan size, pigment, and affordable price but as far as a palette goes then I really love the Viseart matte palettes. They are so nice. Kinda staying with eye shadow though is the Stila Magnificent Glitters. I've used these so much and pretty much anytime I want to add some sparkle to my look. It's so much easier than loose glitter and glitter glue not to mention less messy. Liner....my top one got knocked off it's spot to be replaced by the Hourglass Voyeur liner. That liner can just do things. I love it, I love the weight it has, I feel like I have more control. It wins. Mascara: Kristofer Buckle Mascara. You've not seen what mascara can do until you try that mascara. Lashes have definitely been Kiss Faux Mink Lashes. Specifically in Boudoir and Midnight. Boudoir being my fave. I adore them. Actually Kiss, if you read this I would really love an expansion of these lashes like maybe double up Boudoir or something. Ya feel me? For lips I'm 100% Bare Minerals Matte Liquid lips whether it's the Gen Nude line or the Statement Matte line I love the formula.
So that's it! To the point and hopefully bearable to get through. Happy New Year!!!!!
