Allure Beauty Box: August

​Ok it's August, and that means a new Allure Beauty Box. I'm going to put my affiliate link here (yes, affiliate link), and just like last month I'm going to discuss what is in this months box.

​Let's get started:

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask .10 oz/3 grams. I have 3 of these. They're all this size too. Anytime I can get them I stock up because they last a very long time, I've still not gotten through the first one. They do a really good job of healing the lips and they're a little thicker in formula. I personally like that it's a bit heavier and doesn't absorb too fast. It's becoming a cult favorite very quickly I notice. 

Nexxus Keraphix Shampee and Conditioner. They're 3 oz each. I really like Nexxus products, I've not tried these yet but it's a healthy amount of product. Plus they're the perfect travel size.

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sherbet. 15ml/.5 oz I have a few of these as well only I think they're a bit smaller. I've used several up as well. I'm a fan of several Caudalie products including this one. Mainly because I find that this is typically good for most skin types. It's light weight but almost like a "whipped" light weight feeling if that makes sense. I find it quite soothing and tends to settle irritated skin. It has sunflower seed oil in it and has been especially beneficial for those that get dry patches of skin, etc. 

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner: This is full size which is normally $22 at Ulta. This is a smudge proof formula and I have to say that it does hold up really well especially on the outer corners. It's not a matte finish but if you'd like a matte finish you can go over it with black shadow and an angled brush which is what I do. It doesn't "bleed" or get runny when it's applied. Very nice liquid liner.

Laritzy Light Stix in Halo. This is also full sized and is typically $24. This is a stick highlighter in a "champagne" color but honestly you don't notice what the actual color is because it's sheer and just a touch of glow on the cheeks. This is meant to be an everyday cream highlighter and not an intense strobing blinding highlight situation. If you'd prefer a more intense highlight I would use this as a base under a powder highlight of your choice which to me is the same effect as wetting a brush when you apply a metallic or foiled pigment. It's not sticky. It feels like nothing on the cheeks.
