Allure Beauty Box: February 2019

The February Allure Box finally got here. On the last day of February. I'm not sure if it was just my box and I don't mind waiting because they send these to me. I did, however, want to mention that it was late in case others were late and that way you'd know it's not just yours.

So let's get into it.

​They switched from last months red clear bag to a black one this month and I appreciate that. I hope they keep changing the colors. That would be really cool. I look at it as one more thing that you get with the subscription.

This was more brands that I hadn't tried and some that I hadn't heard off and I prefer that. I like finding new brands. I know that for some of you, if may not be really exciting if it's stuff you've not seen though, because you don't know if it's going to be good or not.

You'll get one of three additional products and mine was the Doucce Liquid Liner, which I think is full size as well.

As you can see most of the box is full size products. I swatched the trio and they're super creamy and pigmented. They're all shimmers but they're stunning to top off your look or be the focus of your look. 

I'm most excited about the Brow Gal tinted brow gel. You don't see very many brow products other than maybe a clear gel, in subscription boxes. I haven't tried the brand but it looks really cool there's a clear level on the side of the tube to show you when you're running low.

I also have always wanted to try Moda Brushes, but it's never in stock in my local store. Which is fantastic for them and you can order them of course. I just wanted to see them in person. Now I get to. It's not the shape I expected. It's very dense and angled almost like a tiny kabuki brush. I think for packing on color on the outer corner of the lid is where it's gonna work the best. I'm not sure if it'd be great for blending but it might be because of the density.

All in all, I like this month's bag/box. It's different. It's not my favorite but coming off the heels of January it would've been hard to beat anyway. I still think it's one of the best subscription plans for $15 or $10 if it's your first box (sometimes less than that). You literally never know what they're going to put in it. They do sneak peaks occasionally. They've had some unbelievable boxes, with full size, expensive products. The boxes are nearly always worth 2 or 3 times the price of the box.
