Hey guys! Today I have updates about the Allure Beauty Box. As you know, the Allure Box is sent to me and I do have an affiliate link (but often I forget to use that and just use the main link for you to sign up for boxes.). There's been a few times that I didn't get one, which is fine but being totally transparent I typically do receive one.
I was emailed last week about the changes to the Allure Box, I'd already received the box though before hand. I noticed the box was much bigger and I hadn't got one in September so I was confused by the size. Then I got the email of the changes that they had made. Which I'm going to leave below. ⦁ Now priced at $23 ⦁ At least 6 products each month. ⦁ Every box valued at $100+ ⦁ New & Improved packaging ⦁ Three or more full-size items in every box ⦁ Exclusive opportunities to get favorite luxury and indie brands at members-only prices ⦁ Special offers for our limited-edition boxes ⦁ Access to members-only events with Allure editors and beauty experts This months box was valued at over $200. With the following items in it. Wilma Schumann -- Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads Static Nails -- Liquid Glass Lacquer in Irene (full size) Sigma -- Liquid Lipstick in Venom The Nue Co -- Topical C (full size) La Roche Posay -- Lipikar Balm AP + Body Cream Dr. Jart+ -- Ceramidin Cream Verso -- Super Eye Serum (full size) GWP: Sisley -- Black Rose Cream Mask (for new subscribers) Bonus: PUREMIX -- Native Fig Replenishing Shampoo & Conditioner I've already used quite a few of these. I really loved the brands they put in here. It was quite diverse. Some of them I knew and some I didn't know at all. It's a good mixture of luxury and affordable products, as well as small and big brands. I've been using the La Roche Posay Lipikar Balm. It can be used on the body but I'm using it on the face at night because with all the Halloween looks, my skin takes a beating and I need all the help I can get for my skin. This is an affordable brand and available at most drugstores, Walmart and ULTA. I've also been using The Nue Co. Topical C. This is a powder Vitamin C that you add into your serum or moisturizer to activate it. I typically use it with a serum like my Algenist Liquid Collagen or a hydrating serum but I would definitely use it with a water cream moisturizer as well. I've never tried The Nue Co. but I'd love to try more products. I've used the Sigma Liquid Lipstick in "Venom" for a Medusa look I done. Which is quite fitting when you come to think of it. I'm so glad Sigma was included in this box. It's always nice to see them. I've been using Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream for years now. I love the Ceramidin line as well as the Cicapair line. I think Ceramidin Cream works for about everyone though. It's a solid product. I was also glad to see this in a bigger "deluxe size" than the standard "deluxe size" that we often get with purchases, etc. I've been using the Verson Eye Cream every night. It's extremely light weight. It has "retinol 8" in it. In general I tend to like eye creams that have retinol in them. It's slowly becoming a thing and I'm here for it. The Static Nail nail polish is beautiful and a perfect fall shade of mauve and the name of it is "Irene". It's such a cute little bottle. I've tried a bunch of Static Nail products but never a nail polish and this is my typical everyday color I got for. I've not used the Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Masque yet. I have to be in the mood for a mask. This stays on for 10-15 minutes and then wiped off. This is for new subscribers. The Wilma Schumann Collagen Eye Pads look interesting. I love eye patches/pads. This is 1 pair. So it'd be nice to add to my travel skincare bag. I have used their products before and I've really liked them so I imagine I'll enjoy these as I do most eye gels/patches/pads. Lastly is the RUSK Puremix Native Fig replenishing shampoo and conditioner pouches. For my long hair this would be a one time use...maybe? I really have to use a lot of shampoo and conditioner for my hair because there is so much of it and I always shampoo twice. I will use it though, just to see what it's about. This was a bonus product. So with this there's a GWP (gift with purchase) which was the Sisley masque. There's also the Bonus product which is the Puremix. I'm not sure if that's going to be in each box. I imagine the GWP would be with your first box and then maybe there's going to be more bonus products along the way? Not too sure but anxious to find out. As stated above the price has increased because there's more products now, 3 of which being full sized, and it's going to be $23 a month but you're guaranteed at least $100 worth of products. Based on this box, the full size products were the most expensive ones with the Topical C being $70 and the Verso Eye Cream being $68. The other full size product was the Static Nail nail polish which was $16. The rest were very generous samples. The smaller things were just the extras added in. That's the October box. I'm glad I can share it with you. I hope you're having a good October and hanging in there. I'm in the middle of posting Halloween looks over on Instagram so go check that out if you'd like.
