Anastasia Beverly Hills MODERN RENAISSANCE Palette

Guys.......this palette......is by far the best palette so far for 2016. I'll be impressed if any other eyeshadow palette can top it. It's a nice velvet/suede feel packaging. Same size as most ABH palettes. It's simplicity of packaging is absolutely perfect. It's like when you finally got your hands on the first NAKED palette from Urban Decay, that feeling you had. Yea this is like that. I knew from the colors alone that I wanted this. When I got it though it was soooooo much more than what I expected and I have high expectations from ABH.

This has 14 shades all together and a double ended brush. There are 11 matte shades and 3 shades that are shimmer. What immediately drew me to this palette was the shades Love Letter, Venetian Red, Red Ochre, and Realgar. Some awesome cranberry and orange-y shades. When I got the palette though I fell in love with Raw Sienna and Golden Ochre and Burnt Orange as well.

3 of the shades are available as single shades as of right now, which are: Burnt Orange, Buon Fresco, and Warm Taupe. Which are really neutral shades and not the most stand out shades. So all these really awesome reds, oranges, berry, and amber shades are not available to buy individually. 

From top to bottom we have:

The formula is impreccable like always. These are so pigmented that when I applied Golden Ochre (matte) it covered Love Letter (also matte). So a light skin toned shade COVERED a dark berry shade. They are insane. They're so soft, pigmented (obviously), blendable, and keep their color as the day goes on. I can not begin to explain how much I love this palette.

It's $42 which is fair especially for the packaging and quality of product. It's available now on the ABH website, but it will hit Sephora stores on June 15th. I'm not sure about Ulta. I would assume it would be the same. 

This was the first look I done with it. A completely messy matte eye and shimmery inner corner. I really smoked out the lower lash line super heavy too. 

Obviously, my thoughts are: GET THIS. If you like warm smokey eyes and cranberry shades then you need this in your life. Trust me on that.
