This is my dear friend Jamie who is going to be a mermaid tonight. We used Morphe Brushes Smokey Palette to give her all different colors and also to make her look very iridescent with the frosted shades. Then we packed on glitter and rhinestones and pearls with eyelash glue. I drew the sand dollar with a white eyeliner and the anchor is black eyeshadow. We used Makeup Geek Mermaid eyeshadow to go over the blue areas for an extra "aquatic" look.
This makeup is something that is hard for me to accomplish the way that I want. Alot of times green just doesn't show up the vibrant way that I want without looking too dark or too dull. So this actually went better than my other attempts. The picture doesn't show it as vibrant as it actually was which was unfortunate.
Eyes: Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Khaki MUG Mermaid all over the lid MUG Envy over Mermaid From that point I just built it to the intensity that I wanted, but the colors are so pigmented I didn't have to build it up much at all. It really was very beautiful layered on each other I was so impressed. CS Olivewood is in the crease some just as a little extra green to make sure this look was coming off very vibrant and not neutral. A light shimmery lime green from the Morphe Brushes Smokey Eye palette is on the lower lash line. Face: Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Beauty Blender Hourglass Luminous Flush blush Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer Lips: MAC Faux Outfit Details: Sweater from Rue 21 Skinny Jeans from AE Wire Bangles from The Boutique and KBJStones from Etsy Blue Suede Shoes (flats) from Madden Girl. Zipper detail is on the back Black Onyx Stud Earrings from Tiffany and Co. Today's makeup is something I don't typically do which is grey. I don't know why I really like grey I just don't typically wear grey and black on my lid. On the eyes: Lorac Pro Palette: Pewter, Black, Slate, Mauve Sephora Collection Outrageous Curl Mascara ABH Dip Brow Face: Dr Jart+ Black Label Detox Beauty Balm It Cosmetics CC Cream Loreal Blur Foundation Hourglass Blush in Dim Infusion Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer Lips Tarte Golden Pink lipstick Laura Mercier Bare Baby lip gloss Outfit details: Camo t-shirt (old) Boyfriend Jeans AE Tory Burch leather sandals Wire Bangles Makeup:
