I got my Halloween costume! I am a Greek Goddess. On the eyes: Same look from today's Gold Makeup post. I extended the wing more and added gold glitter underneath. The lashes are Red Cherry 46's. I used the color Half Baked from the Naked palette over the cheeks and up the temples and forehead. On the nose and Cupid's now as well. Gold glitter added sparsely through it. The lips are Creme D Nude and Nars Ophelia gloss.

Today's Fall Makeup is actually a color I'm not too fond of in general. Gold. A very yellow gold at that. Face: Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Benefit Coralista MAC Careblend Pressed Powder Lips MAC Costa Riche eyeliner Jordana Deep Plum lipliner Outfit details: Oatmeal Sweater from Rue 21 Dark Skinny Jeans from AE Leopard Sneakers from Wet Seal Watch from Etsy Eyeball earrings I got on our honeymoon. Today's Makeuo and Outfit for fall. Let's go! On the eyes: MUG Chickadee all over the lid and extremely blown out. I kept adding to it though because I really wanted this look to be smokey. MUG Mocha, this was on the outer half of the lid and crease. Lower lashline as well. Also very smoked out with a pencil brush. MUG Vegas Lights pigment. I used Too Faced glitter glue to make this look more foiled and stick better. The second picture's accent nail is a nude nail polish that I had and I used Essie Mink Muffs to make the leopard spots. With a touch of black. Burgundy doesn't have to be your dominant color. You can use it in your makeup and wear something completely different in your outfit. Or you can do pops of color it's up to you. It's a very flattering color though on everyone and I invite to give it a try in some form or fashion at least once. Moving right along with the fall trends, you can't have fall if you don't have Burgundy, Wine, Maroon, or Berry colored things. I love this color so much especially in makeup. So many people are afraid of this color in eyeshadow especially but it's SO flattering! On literally everyone. It's something that I literally have to force myself not to wear every single day because I totally would. These looks are from previous posts I've done this fall. You can go to that specific post and get the details. If it's not on this particular site I'll provide the link because it's on my tumblr blog. Feel free to look around on here and my Instagram (@lovemascara) for all my other looks. Outfit details:
Sequin Elbow Patch Sweater from The Boutique AE Dark Skinny Jeans Tory Burch Caroline Flats in Pewter Scarf and Earrings from Charlotte Russe Wire Bangles from The Boutique as well. So today's fall look is really colorful and fun, but it can be a little tricky especially the way I done it.
On the eyes: First I used a primer of course but then in the center of the eye I laid down a teal eyeliner to act as a base for the teal eyeshadow in the center of the eye and also to make the teal be brighter and have more intensity CS Maroon Berry on the outer corner and inner corner of the eye, and slightly in the crease not too much though. CS Vibrant Plum outer corner over the Maroon Berry. MUG Mermaid over the teal eyeliner. this is where it gets tricky. You really have to work with this and make sure that it's not too harsh on the edges against the purple so bring it just slight over the purple you've laid down or else it can look boxy and even though its going to be a pop of color and standout you don't want it too look messy and uneven. It needs to be smooth. CS Dark Mango just barely in the corner of the crease just to help blow out the berry color a little more. Lower lashline is Maroon Berry an Vibrant Plum on top and then Dark Mango is literally placed right below it very softly just to make it look glowy and not an added pop of color. Mermaid is on top of the purple along the whole line. You can also use a teal liner in the water line or something but I'm not the biggest fan of lining the water line. Red Cherry Lashes in 213, literally my favorites and I don't know how many pairs I've bought. ABH Dip Brow Face is Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation MUG Bliss blush MAC Careblend Pressed Powder Laura Mercier Baked Highligh ABH Contour Kit Lips MAC Coral Bliss Buxom lip gloss in Creamsicle Today's outfit is easy and comfy because it's cold and rainy here. So hair is in a messy bun and I busted out a sweatshirt.
Details: Monogrammed Sweatshirt is from my dear friend Jamie Scarf is from Charlotte Russe Colorful hairbow for underneath my bun is from Etsy Sperry's from Belk (last year) Andddddddd DIAMOND EARRINGS FROM THE SWEETEST HUSBAND (they were waiting for me when I got home) So today's look reminds me of changing leaves. It really does. I love using really warm colors as you probably can tell but it's so fun to pair them with plums and vibrant purples. All the colors are matte and the orange is really blown out but only in the outer corner. That's the only place I placed the orange in the crease because I wanted it to blow out in a slant instead of a circle like it usually does.
On the eyes: CS Maroon Berry CS Vibrant Plum CS Dark Mango CS Light Tangerine MUG Corrupt (just in the very corner and lash line. Sephora Outragous Curl Mascara Benefit Push Up Liner ABH Dip Brow Face: Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Benefit Coralista Blush Lips: Loreal Lip Stain Shine in Berry Persistent and Coral Tattoo Ok, so this makeup has nothing to do with the rain exactly but I didn't know what else to call it so thus it's rainy day makeup and outfit.
On the eyes: MUG Bitten MUG Chickadee MUG Corrupt CS Maroon Berry Red Cherry Lashes in 213 ABH Dip Brow Face: MUFE HD Foundation Hourglass blush in Luminous Flush MAC Careblend Pressed Powder Hourglass Ambient Light in Diffused Light Lips MAC Creme D Nude Jordana lip liner in Tawny Outfit details: Banana Republic Ivory Cardigan Teal Tank-top Dark Skinny Jeans AE Scarf from Gap Bangles from Charming Charlie's Nude Suede Heels from BCBG (a TJ Maxx find a few years ago) |
