Tonight I really don't feel great so I went and played in my makeup to distract myself. I'm obsessed with pop art Makeup. Well actually I'm obsessed with makeup that Altars you from looking human. I love Pop art and comic inspired makeup cause it's super easy and transforms you with very little effort. I used Maybelline gel liner and white fact paint to re-draw my brows. I made an ombre lip with Sephora's lip stain in 07 and Bite Beauty lip stick in VIB Rouge. Other than the lines I drew on the face that's pretty much all I done. I can see myself doing more of these later on. Maybe this can be a new series? I like it.

Happy Halloween from me to you. So happy to get to make some of my favorite people from The Boutique into some cute cats. I on the other hand went Greek/Roman/Egyptian 🎃👻 Using mainly MUG eyeshadow in Mermaid and Envy and Morphe Smokey Palette. Halloween Face Crayons were my base. Stila eye Kajal in sapphire was what I outlined it with. Rhinstones are attached by eyelash glue and glitter is over too faced glitter glue. Today was a busy hectic day, but it was so much fun and rewarding at the same time. These are some highlights of my little friends from the fall festival this morning. Ironically everyone wanted to be a pink or purple cheetah. So we had a ton running around. There was however some puppies, a fox, a pumpkin, a vampire and a football running around as well though. Thank you to the girls at The Boutique for taking pictures of all the fun and for asking me to be with you guys for such an awesome time. Can't wait to do it again!! This is my dear friend Jamie who is going to be a mermaid tonight. We used Morphe Brushes Smokey Palette to give her all different colors and also to make her look very iridescent with the frosted shades. Then we packed on glitter and rhinestones and pearls with eyelash glue. I drew the sand dollar with a white eyeliner and the anchor is black eyeshadow. We used Makeup Geek Mermaid eyeshadow to go over the blue areas for an extra "aquatic" look.
I got my Halloween costume! I am a Greek Goddess. On the eyes: Same look from today's Gold Makeup post. I extended the wing more and added gold glitter underneath. The lashes are Red Cherry 46's. I used the color Half Baked from the Naked palette over the cheeks and up the temples and forehead. On the nose and Cupid's now as well. Gold glitter added sparsely through it. The lips are Creme D Nude and Nars Ophelia gloss. Skull Makeup.
Used the Halloween face paint you buy at Walmart with a sponge and then black eyeshadow over the black painted area. |
