Shew, guys....we're growing over here. I appreciate it very much. As this website grows though I know I'm getting readers who need different things. I want to accommodate that as best I can. So today I wanted to discuss my favorite Clean Beauty skincare brands. I think if I had to choose a path to go in skincare I would ultimately go with clean beauty. As you know I use most all skincare products, with exception of very few, but I'm a fan of clinical skincare, organic skincare, vegan, advanced tech, you name it. I love knowledge. I'm one of those who thinks that the best way to be helpful and the best game plan to have, if you will, is to have as much knowledge as possible from every area. I appreciate that there are so many options right now. I also realize that it's a bit overwhelming too. So I want to make it clear that while I'm starting with "clean beauty" expect more to come with the next roundup of brands or products being "organic skincare" or the "green beauty" movement that we're seeing. I'd much rather dedicate a whole post to organic skincare than to lump it together with something else. So be on the lookout for that! So getting on into it. Let's discuss clean beauty brands. Sephora actually has started their own "stamp of approval" I guess which is a seal that is on the product page that reads "clean at Sephora". There are plenty of brands who include it on the packaging. You may have some other requirements for your skincare though. So I'm going to just be giving you the brands that are defined as "clean beauty" and hopefully you will find a brand that fits your style and preferences.
Right off the bat I automatically think of REN skincare which is, in my mind, one of the OG's of clean skincare. They have a really well rounded range in my opinion. You already know the line that is my favorite is the Evercalm line but I also really love their Glow Daily AHA Tonic, their Glycolic Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask, their Bio Retinoid Oil. They have a body care line. They have a mattifying line. Their my first round pick for sure. Drunk Elephant is also labeled as a clean brand. I'm a huge fan of theirs too as you know. Their Firma-C is my #1 Vitamin C serum, I use their peptide cream Protini every single day, I also really love their B Hydra Hyaluronic Acid serum and their sunscreens. They have one of the best eye creams I've ever tried called C-Tango. They've grown in such a short period of time it feels but they also don't pump out new product launches every month or even every few months and I've always liked that. Each product they've made has a place in the line that can do multiple things and it's a great formula. I find their products rarely ever need an additive or help from another product to make them work better. Farmacy is another brand that is clean. They aren't a very big brand but they rarely put out products that I don't like. My favorite being the Green Clean Melting Balm and their Honey Potion Antioxidant Mask. They have just released a new product and I can't wait to try it. It's an AHA night serum and I've heard great things about this. Youth To The People is probably an even smaller brand but they pack a punch in my opinion. Their cleanser, "Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser", is literally a favorite of mine. I enjoy their new facial oil, Superberry Hydrate and Glow. They just released a new moisturizer that I'm excited about. I think they would fall under a "green beauty" brand as well but I need to double check. Korres is the last brand I'm going to discuss even though there are plenty more. I really love their Greek Yoghurt Cleanser, it's extremely gentle and just delightful. I've always, for years, been a fan of their sleeping facials. I also really like their Pomegranate Cream Gel Moisturizer, it's designed for more oily-combo skin but I love it as a light weight moisturizer to use when I've layered products at night or during the summer when it's so hot and sticky. Those are the top brands where I have the most knowledge and used the most. However, there are a lot of Clean Beauty brands out there. Some honourable mentions: Herbivore Tatcha Caudalie Origins Tata Harper Omorovicza
