Covergirl has some great news. They're now Cruelty Free! Leaping bunny certified and everything! So I thought that I'd share this news with an overview of the products that I really love. Here lately they've came out with some down right high end quality products. So let's get into it. First is one that's tried and true. It's the Covergirl Healthy Elixir Foundation. It's really good. It's definitely more dewy than anything but it is a full coverage. It definitely give the skin that healthy look. I'd love to see some more shades. Been a favorite for it a while. Next is the Tru naked palettes they released with Viva Glam Kay (@viva_glam_kay on Instagram) there is four and two are scented. My fave being Chocoholic it's a great neutral browns palette with some duo-chrome glitter shades. It's so good. It blends like a dream but they all do. The next is Peach Punch palette scented like peaches of course. It's more of a neutral-warm palette with pops of peach in it. A lot of good transition shades with this palette. Again, blends like a dream. My Poodle, Savannah, really loves it and she is hard to impress. Let's just say if I ever do a makeup line or anything she will be right there to test the formula until it's perfect. They have the Sunsets palette which is your standard warm toned with berry shades palette. Some really great neutral highlight shades or shimmer shades, of those shades in this than in the Peach Punch. The shades that should pop or do the most like the berry tones are matte which is fantastic. I love it. Lastly there is the Dazed palette which is a palette of bright, nearly neon, shades. It has a lot of different finishes. It really plays up to the blues and purple shades. Then you've also got incredible green, warmer tones like yellow and a lighter orange. This palette has the least amount of matte shades. The palettes are consistent the whole time. They all perform the same. They did so good with this. Each palette has eight shades in it and I think they range from ten to twelve bucks.
Their lip liners and Exhibitionist lipsticks are insane. They're so creamy and there are a ton of different finishes and colors. I also really love their Melting Pout Matte liquid lipsticks. They're very light weight and don't dry the lips out. Of course on the darker shades you may need to layer to really get it opaque but the neutral shades are where it's at. I really liked the Flourish mascara and primer. They have avocado in both of them and they are really really nice. I also really liked their Illuminating Base too. It's a really nice texture and it illuminates but doesn't go crazy. It's nice on it's own as well. So that's it. Those are my top faves in Covergirl. Congrats Covergirl for going Cruelty Free!
