DR. Roebucks Brand Overview

​Guys....I'm having such a good day. I hope you are too. I've fell down the rabbit hole of Twitter and I can't stay off of it. Also, professionally it's already been a fantastic week and it's only Tuesday. So I'm so excited. 

Anyway, why we're here today is to do a Brand Overview of Dr. Roebucks. As you know, I've loved them for quite a while. Basically right before they went on Sephora is when I became acquainted with them and they're lovely. I can honestly sit here and tell you that there is not a single product I don't like and there is only one product that I don't own. 

​So they're an Australian brand they are completely clean skincare. They're still quite small but still they've blown up really fast over the last year or two and they've became available in Sephora which is outstanding!

Easily my favorite products are the serums. They do serums so well. They all have a base of Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamins A,C and E. My absolute favorite being Ultimate Hydration Serum. It's a gel serum, it will hydrate, soften lines, and even skin tone. It's also suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

​Reverse Aging Serum looks like you've just went and had a facial, it gives the skin a glow, restores the skin's natural texture and firmness. Again it's a gel serum that lessens the appearance of dark spots and gives the skin a refreshed, vibrant look.

Protect and Prevent is an anti pollution serum. Made specifically for those with depleted or stressed skin. It's definitely one I would recommend if you don't have anything like it because the skin has more worries than just UV rays. There's so many things that make the skin look dull, breaks it out, makes it sensitive, and so on. You always need a barrier between your face and the environment.

Boost and Tighten is a collagen boosting serum with no oily residue left over. It's hydrates and brightens as well as tightens. If you feel like your losing elasticity or not as firm as you once were this is the serum for you.

​They have two moisturizing creams which is FACE and PURE. FACE has been a staple in my PM Routine for quite a while. It's a great moisturizer that hydrates the skin and works very well as an everyday cream. 

Pure is a heavier cream, it's great for sensitive skin because of it's soothing qualities for the skin and helpful for eczema. It's ultra hydrating and a healing cream. It's wonderful to have on hand if your skin freaks out or is prone to these issues.

They have an eye cream and it feels so good, it's thicker and rich. I love it especially because my eye area is very dry. It's suitable for all skin types it seems. It makes fine lines less apparent and it's very hydrating as well. It is said to improve skins texture and and elasticity over time.

​They have a the Cream CLEANSE.....this. This. This is so good. It's the perfect cream cleanser in my opinion out of all the ones I've tried and all the ones I have. It looks like a  thick cream cleanser but it's quite lightweight in my opinion, it's gentle and your skin doesn't feel stripped afterwards. I think I will run out of this so fast. It's a "soothing" cleanser and won't irritate the skin.

They have a body cream and again it's rich, ultra hydrating, and feels amazing. I will say I'm a total slacker when it comes to body cream though. This however, soothes the skin, tones the skin, and hydrates. 

POLISH is their exfoliator/mask. Like the others it's very nice. In general I don't like scrubs. I feel like they do more harm than good but this one I support whole heartedly. It has biodegradable eco beads in it it doesn't strip the skin it's actually very hydrating while it deep cleans the pores. 

​Those are all the products that I have. I'm missing a few here and there. I didn't realize they had a toner. Which is what I'll be getting next. In general the sizes are really good. There's no small amount in any of them I feel. The price is something I'm completely ok with and understand. Especially with it being a "clean" brand its actually quite inexpensive. They really do have some of the best skincare I've tried. 

My go to's are: Cleanse,  Hydrating Serum, and FACE. If my skin is super upset or burning then I would go with PURE. Obviously if you have other concerns like loss of elasticity or eczema I would say get PURE, BODY, and Boost and Tighten, as well as EYE. It's just basically whatever you need.
