Keeping with the skincare, lets talk about Exuviance. They have some fantastic and exciting things we're going to be talking about in the next little bit. We're going to go ahead and talk about this one.
So we're talking about the Exuviance Age Reverse HydraFirm moisturizer. I'm going to do things a little different and give you the company claim of the product first. Then talk about my experience.
"This multitasking moisturizer helps hydrate skin while targeting all visible signs of aging. Exuviance AGE REVERSE HydraFirm is a winter skincare essential, especially if you want to get glowing skin in time for the holiday season.
Hyaluronic Acid and Prodew help actively restore moisture, while a triple firming complex of NeoGlucosamine, Bionic, and Peptides helps target collagen. Potent antioxidants help prevent damage from daily environmental stressors to provide firming and strengthening benefits. " I realize that says "for holiday season" up there, let's not knit pick. As you know this is one of my favorite skincare brands. I talk about their products a lot. They fascinate me. I love seeing what they come out with. This is one of my favorite products so far. I feel like I'm probably said that before but when I started using this I was blown away. This is a large pump packaging. Literally a large wide pump. So I expenct like a "water cream" or thin serum style product. No this is actually a thicker moisturizer. I LOVE THAT. It glides on the skin. I know that sounds like such an ad line but Im serious this goes onto/into the skin so easily and moves down the neck effortlessly. I feel it going on, but it doesn't lay there. It doesn't feel heavy. It doesn't ball up when working it into the skin and the skin drinks it up quite fast. Leaving you feeling great. It's a little cooling, it has the feel of a thicker cream but acts like a serum in the way your skin reacts to it. Or that's my experience anyway. So with regards to what this does: I've looked specifically at their "key ingredients" and then the rest of their ingredients. I feel like it's built around hydration and nourishing but gentle ingredients to really hit you with antioxidants, repair damage and strengthen, replenish the skin with loads of deeper level hydration to your benefit as well. Of course there is the Age Reverse in the name so it's going to fight against the sign of aging. There's one ingredient in particular that I've not found 100% definition of, so I can't be sure if the one I found was actually the ingredient they used. It seems like it would be simply because it's job was to attract, absorb and retain moisture. If it's the same thing I think it is then it's also keeping the skin really protected as well (which there are other ingredients protecting the skin in this product too). I don't want to name it incase I'm wrong. None the less, it's a great addition to the formula it's not the only thing giving you the hydration and protection though. Remember the ingredients are designed to work together. I'll just say the key ingredients in this really impress me and try to read up on them. It's very interesting. Now, how did it work for me? I love it. Simple as that. It didn't congest my skin, my skin didn't have to get used to it. It worked great with other products. It also seemed to level out my own oil production on my face. I was getting really oily in my t-zone for a while and even my makeup was getting eaten away by oil but since I've been using this, it really seems to have balanced it out and that's why it's my favorite product so far from them. Now being completely honest, I'm 30 years old, I have an extensive skincare routine full of antioxidants and this and that. I feel like my skin is in good condition but what I noticed was if I used something that was too heavy on my skin and it reacted or it I used anything that really stung like high % of Vitamin C or an Acid, I often grabbed this to make my skin feel better and stayed away from whatever cream that was throwing my skin for a loop and kept with this because my skin calmed down and did better when I use this as my final step where my moisturizer and creams go. So not only is it very useful in a routine it's also good at soothing the skin in my opinion. Would I recommend? Yes. If you're in the market for this type of product because you're losing elasticity or have sun damage I think you'd benefit from this. If you're in your 20's I still think it's a great product because it does protect the skin. Do you need it in your 20's? Maybe not but you could benefit from it so I'll let you decide that. I'm going to leave the ingredient deck below.
