I've had the balancing mask for a while and really like it. It turns from like a mint green to a pale pink as it sits on your skin for 3-5 minutes. It's a mousse/whipped texture. This line is probably my favorite products from Algenist aside from the Genius Liquid Collagen serum. The Alive products use algae-derived  prebiotic and a probiotic rebalance and detox your skin, based on your skins own personal "condition" that it's in. If I'm wording it correctly it adjusts what needs to be adjusted on the surface of the skin (epidermis) and balances it. 

They are using their patented Alguronic Acid in this as well. Along with detoxing  the skin surface, you have to remember it's also balancing so it's going to hydrate the skin as well, the probiotic is "good bacteria" for the skin just as you're probably aware of probiotics for your digestive health. It's supposed to help with sensitivity issues and give your skin the glow it should have at it's healthiest.

The moisturizer is lightweight, creamy, and soft to the touch with an all mineral SPF of 15. It's free of harmful chemicals so it's safe for the environment. These products are exclusive to ULTA Beauty and Algenist.com.
