Another gift guide is here and this one is Skincare! Here’s some of my favorite sets and I think they would be killer gifts. Starting with Drunk Elephant….of course. They do the best sets. I’m a fan of the biggest to the smallest sets. It’s all in what you want or what you think someone would like. If you’re buying for someone else then I really recommend Protini or C Firma. If you can find those in a set, you’re golden. I think people appreciate vitamin C before they appreciate any other treatment. I find that C Firma is the quickest to give you a glow and make a difference in the appearance of the skin before most treatments. Yet another brand that won’t be a surprise is First Aid Beauty. Again, they also do great sets. I think they are the best way to go for younger skin, for those who are just really getting into skincare and maybe wanting to try some treatments. First Aid Beauty does a fantastic job of taking the guess work out and making products that are the least likely to piss the skin off. I always pick a set that has their Radiance Pads in it because they are the gentlest way of doing Acid Exfoliation. It usually will come with their Intensive Moisturizer and as I’ve told you before that is always on my night stand because it’s a rich, no fuss, deeply hydrating, moisturizer. It also comes in a huge pot. I will always steer you toward Elemis for the Pro Collagen Cleansing balm alone. They have the original and they have the Rose one. Both of those are lovely but for a first time stick with the original. There are several sizes, but I always get the big size because it’s my Holy Grail of balm cleansers. I also use it in the mornings as a mask sometimes. I just leave it on the skin for a few minutes before taking it off because it’s gentle and like a warm blanket on the skin. Bottom line it feels amazing and I love it. Vintners Daughter is a gift for the skincare enthusiast or facial oil enthusiast. It’s the mother of all oils. It’s got 22 or 24 active botanicals. It’s on another scale. There is nothing that will compare. If it’s out of your budget and you do want to buy oils then I will say look at The Alluring Alchemist she’s amazing. I love the “Arcanum Oil”. Also, check out the Youth To The People “Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil” it’s a bit light weight but it’s very nice. Also Sunday Riley Juno. Well really any of the Sunday Riley oils but Juno is the oil if you want to just nourish the face and feed the face like the theme here. Kate Somerville also has a line for everyone. She’s the best when it comes to clinical beauty at home. Her 2 minute treatment is literally Hollywood goals and a Hollywood treatment. Her cleansers are famous and I adore the packaging for the moisturizers. They recently re released the Goat Milk Cleanser! I’m going to do a full review on that but I would definitely get that and the Goat Milk Moisturizer as a gift for someone because that is my favorite moisturizer from them, Nourish would be a close second. If you’d rather look at some treatments I’d say take a look at the Wrinkle Warrior line. It’s really lovely and it’s not harsh.
There are plenty more brands that I love that are great like OSEA which I've talked about all year. Zaman Skincare sets that I've been using lately are a nice gift. There's some great "Luxury skincare" that would be a very very nice gift like May Lindstrom and Mahalo Skincare. If you don't want to stick to one brand then I suggest looking at the Sephora Favorites for skincare value sets online. They usually have different sets to choose from and they're full of different brands. It's a great way to try different brands too because typically it's going to be the best sellers in that category. As always a gift card is a great way to go. Especially if it's someone with very sensitive skin or they really love green beauty brands. That way you don't have to worry that they may not be able to use whatever you get them and can get what they want.
