Jan Marini: Transformation Face Cream

​We're back with another product from Jan Marini to discuss! Hi...how are you guys? Feeling good...feeling great? I do hope so.  I can't believe it's nearing the end of March. That's crazy I feel like it was the beginning of the year just last week. Anyway, let's talk about some skincare.

First off we're talking about the Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream. I have tried a few things from Jan Marini. Not an entire range but quite a few. I feel acquainted with the company. I feel like I kinda understand what to expect which is: research, science, technology, innovation. I appreciate that. I actually appreciate a company more when it takes care to do the research and look into the market. I appreciate it when they see what the customers are saying and see what they can add to not just their range but their community that might get the ball rolling toward major breakthroughs. I think that this product is one of those products that will be a building block in skincare. 

I talked about peptides in my 2018 predictions post. I thought that they would be "talked about" much more in 2018 and so far I feel like that's definitely been the case. This product houses growth factors and peptides. It's actually a patented formula. "Growth factors" from what I've learned so far, is actually natural and our skin makes that. Much like everything else, with time it decreases and results in loss of elasticity. In short Growth Factors are essential to the skin's overall health. They repair damage, they help the skin properly protect itself, and they maintain the skins health. "Maintain" being the key word there because maintenance is key in anything if you think about it. Things work properly when they are properly maintained, nourished, taken care of, however you want to put it. Technology has now given us ways to find growth factors in other areas to put back into our skin if we're on short supply and by doing so, lessen the look of aging with regards to wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage, etc.

So in regards to this product itself I'm going to give you the company claim for it.

Moving to my experience with the product. My skin actually had to get used to this product and I think it was the "moisturizing base" that it had to get used to. The cream is lovely. You are to use it "sparingly' though morning and night. I tend to be a little heavy handed. So while it didn't cause any breakouts, I just noticed that my skin wasn't it's normal self. It wasn't as clear as it could be. I test skincare product for a minimum of 3-4 weeks. After two weeks my skin got used to it and everything went along smooth from there on. What I can say is that the hydration is there. the plumpness seemed to stay intact as opposed to looking good for a while and then later not so much. I do have fine lines around my eyes. They are fine lines though meaning that they aren't deep but I did notice that they seemed much better. The biggest thing I noticed was my neck. I seem to have lost elasticity in my neck that I notice much more now. Could be because if I'm being truthful, I focus so much on my face that my neck and chest often doesn't have the same care. I was diligent in using this on my neck and I feel like there is a difference. Which I'm very happy about. 

So overall I like this product. I like what it's doing and I like what it's opening the doors for. I would recommend that you research this product and look at the website, the pictures, the reviews and decide if it's something you need right now. I'm 30, I saw a difference. However, if you don't have the same skin concerns, or your skin simply doesn't have any fine lines, look into their other products that are designed to take care and "maintain" your skin like antioxidants and so on.
