Milk VS Elf

​Today's blog post is going to be about two products that I find very similar. It's the Milk Cooling Water Stick and Elf Prep and Hydrate Balm.  The Milk Cooling Water stick is $24 for 1.2 oz and $14 for .12 oz. The Elf Prep and Hydrate Balm is $8 for .51 oz. 

​The reason I find them so similar is because, plainly, they're both cooling. I have both and I prefer the Elf Prep and Hydrate because it's more hydrating in my opinion and I use it under my makeup or on it's own all the time. I have the travel size of the Milk Cooling Water stick and it's quite small. The regular size of most Milk balm stick products, ie: Matcha Toner, Matcha Cleanser, Holographic Stick, Cooling Water, etc. is around 1.2 oz. They're thicker and bulky and that's fine but I prefer the Elf balm because it's easier to apply in my opinion. 

The Milk Cooling Water is "A soothing seawater, caffeine-infused gel stick to de-puff eyes and energize the look of skin. " The Elf Prep and Hydrate is " Enriched with purified water, Shea, and Vitamin E to help nourish and moisturize." I will say that upon contact I think the Milk Cooling Water feels just a little bit colder but only a little. The Elf Prep and Hydrate has a perfume fragrance to me that is really noticeable so if you don't like that, this isn't for you. Point blank. If fragrance doesn't bother you I think you'd enjoy the Elf Prep and Hydrate just as much as the Milk Cooling Water stick.
