National Relaxation Day: Soothing Masks

It's National Relaxation Day! There are plenty of ways to relax but my favorite usually includes skincare. So I'm going to do my top favorite masks that feel really good on the skin. They won't be harsh masks by any means. They're going to be soothing, cooling, luxurious masks.
First right out the gate is Ren Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask. I went in-depth about this in my Ren Evercalm review. This is a fantastic mask if your skin is really irritated or just angry. The Evercalm line is one of my faves in general and it's marketed for those with sensitive skin in general. I like having it on hand anytime the skin needs a pick me up or you've used a harsh product that maybe you didn't expect to be harsh and thus the skin feels uncomfortable. It's beyond lovely.

Osea Malibu White Algae Mask. This is a new product for me but this followed by their Hyaluronic Sea Serum is a dream. It's sooooo cooling on the skin. It will dry down but oddly doesn't make the skin feel tight when it does so while it's probably recommended to wear for 15 minutes or so I find myself writing out a blog post while wearing it and forgetting that it's on my face.  I highly recommend.

Luzern LA Defense Urban Protect Detox Masque. This smells so good and it's an immediately refreshing mask. I've used it for a couple years. It's an absolute treat to put on and it feels so light and nice. I don't hear much about Luzern but they have really nice products.

Fresh Beauty Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask. The Black Tea line and also the Rose line are some of my favorite soothing and hydrating products that I have and that I recommend to people. They have a light but fresh smell, this mask in particular is thick and luxurious and it softens the skin like you wouldn't believe! I also love the Firming Overnight from the Black Tea line. They do skincare so well. Full of antioxidants and super-food for your face. They have smaller sizes as well so it's not as expensive and easier to try.

The Granola Goat.....anything. I love Liz and I love her products because she is "one" with the botanicals and I call her my Botanical Guru. I have several of her dry masks that I love, because you choose what you want to add to it. They're most commonly mixed with water and the mask will dry down like a typical clay mask but I've mixed some with rose water before and also what I like to call "base" oils that aren't incredibly expensive for a big amount like Grape Seed Oil. You can mix it with your favorite skin serum/oil as well and combine the two steps if you want. It gives it a nice increase in moisture for the skin and feels lovely when combined with oils. I have The Forest Spirit right beside me which is Yarrow and Cedarwood with Kanolin Clay it helped raise money with @just.the.goods for #protecttheinlet. I also have her "Green With Envy" mask that is emerald green and so nice. I think I have over 50% of her products. She has some new ones too. I love it when I can find products that are all about "feeding the skin" and nourishing it to keep it healthy. She does a fantastic job with that. As a side note her balm called  "Serenity Now" is something I refuse to run out of and I give it to my friends as well. It's a magnesium balm and it's so great for relaxing the body, it helps my headaches, it helps with sleep and anxiety too. Not to mention it smells amazing. Her products are very affordable too.

Some of these products were sent and some were bought myself, but none of it was an obligation to talk about. Also, all the links provided are not affiliate links. These are truly the most comfortable and soothing masks I have. Happy National Relaxation Day, I hope you take some time out for yourself to do whatever it is that relaxes you!

You would love the Evercalm line, it's so soothing and they were one of the first "clean" beauty brands that made it big. The Global Day cream is heaven. Thank you for reading the blog. I'm happy to support!
