OSEA Malibu is a brand that I've always had a crush on. They just look so lovely, not overly complicated or anything, they really stick to their vision. So I got the chance to try their Atmosphere Cream (which I will link here) not too long ago as you remember. They were super kind and sent me some products because at the time it was when I had super dehydrated skin. You guys might remember that. So I've been trying these products for a couple of months to really get a feel and see what they did for my skin. So starting with the Ocean Cleansing Milk.....slow claps....just slow caps....this is a lovely cleanser. It's gentle, there's no tight feeling after I use it, there's no residue left over. It's a pump packaging which I also appreciate. I use just one pump. I typically use it as a morning cleanse or as my second cleanse at night. I am always looking for "gentle-ness" in cleansers because I do have steps that are a touch harsher when I need them. I also test products that can be a bit harsh from time to time and I need my other steps to be really gentle. This does a fantastic job at that. I've hard no issues and it's played very well with everything else I've used it with.
Next is my all time favorite product that I use every single day. Its the Hyaluronic Sea Serum. This is almost like a gel when it comes out of the dropper and you only need about two drops because I messed up and used way more than I needed the first time. The minute this hits your face it's like you drenched yourself in water. I don't know how they do it but the delivery system is unmatched for this. I've never met a more pleasurable product to use in my entire life. There was no sticky feeling to it, there was no overly wet feeling like it wouldn't absorb either. It was like a burst of refreshing cooling hydration. It's an absolute must from me! If you were going to get one product I would tell you to get this. The Sea Vitamin Boost is a mist. It's so lovely, it's very much like an added touch of refresh to your face. Especially when you're skin is having a moment of irritation. It's just a nice added touch being in a spray. Not to mention it's a vitamin spray. Antioxidants are always a must for me in anyway that I can get them. It's like food for your skin, keeping your skin healthy. I love it when they're in a mist because the routine is just that much easier. Their Argan Oil is in my favorite packaging right now for oils which is in a roller ball. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it when companies do that. I often think that sometimes people go too heavy with an oil, I certainly can but my skin is kinda used to that. I find that roller balls of oil help you control how much you use. You really can't overdo it with a roller ball. Also the ball is cooling on the skin. This is a really nice formula. It's a lovely way to get into oils if you're not sure if you would like them or not. You can't really go wrong with it and you can't really over do it thanks to the packaging that it's in. The last product is their Advanced Protection Cream. This is quite thick. It's for dry, sensitive, and mature skins. It's very rich, which explains it's texture. It's meant to be deeply hydrating. I use this when my skin is really dry and I use it last thing before I go to sleep. So I kinda view it as a sleeping mask almost. This is not a product I use all the time, only when my skin needs it. If you find your skin in a sensitive, dry and tight, uncomfortable place then I think you would benefit from this. You may not need it all the time but it's great to have when you do. It's also 2 oz in a glass jar/pot container. I feel like that's a good amount of product especially for the texture and how much one might need to use it. They have sets available if you'd like to try several products at a time. Which I what I do all the time. It's my number one tip when searching for new skincare and trying new brands. Try a gift set because you'll get numerous products. All these products, get along very well with my other products in my routine. They obviously do very well with the products in their own brand. They've not caused me any discomfort or adverse effects individually or together. I consider it a fail safe basically. These are products I would certainly travel with. The packaging is very nice, quite heavy which I love because they're all frosted glass. OSEA is 100% Natural, Vegan, and Organic. They were the first company to sign the "Compact for Safe Organics"..."an initiative started by the Environmental Working Group that holds companies accountable for ensuring that their products are “free of chemicals that are known or strongly suspected of causing cancer, mutation or birth defects.” Since then, over 1,000 companies have joined OSEA in pledging to phase out the use of toxic chemicals in all beauty products!" I thought that was a really cool little fact and it caused me to research into the Envirmonmental Working Group and what they're working on. They're cruelty free so free from anything animal derived. Free of Lanolin, Beeswax, and carmine. Their ingredients are "sustainably grown and our bioavailable seaweed is eco-responsibly and hand-harvested from the pristine waters of Patagonia" which I also thought was super interesting and then I went and Google Earth(ed) Patagonia. SO I've learned quite a bit of information which I love. I love exploring different avenues of the how companies make their products and so on.
