ULTA gift guide is up next. They're always having sales of course and marking items down. What I've really loved about them for the last 2 years or so, is that they're taking on more indie brands that are popular within the beauty community. They've stepped up in a major way, plus all your purchases give you points which convert to cash. Here's my list:
Tarte. You get 9 shades of blushes, bronzer, and highlight in these 3 stacks. It's such convenient packaging for you to travel with or to store because it takes up much less space. It's $35 which I think is a steal. They have a mascara trio as well as a holiday set of the super popular Chrome paints/pigments. Benefit. They have a mini cheek 4 pan palette. It's 2 blushes, 1 bronzer, and one brightening powder. They also have some mini cheek trios that are blush, bronzer, and highlight and then one that is 2 blushes and 1 bronzer. Of course they have their brow products as well. MAC. MAC is such a staple and notorious in the makeup world. I was really surprised when ULTA started selling their products. Every makeup lover needs one of their lipsticks and lip liners, and they always do some really awesome Holiday Sets as well. First Aid Beauty. They always do the most when it comes to sets. As you know I love them dearly. There's not really any products from them that I don't like. Their Radiance Pads are a cult favorite for acid toning lovers. Their Intensive Night Cream is always on my night stand. I'm obsessed with their treatments they released maybe a year ago, the Lactic Acid serum, the retinol, etc. They also have great primers. Indeed Labs. This is one of those indie brands that I was surprised they got. They have great affordable products. The Hydraluron products are great for dry/dehydrated skin. They have an awesome soothing cream which is 10Balm. The Retinol Reface is like an unsung hero. They are constantly reformulating to give you the most up to date effective products, with the newest technology or research available. Juvia's Place. Another indie brand that I was glad to see available on ULTA. They have awesome eye and cheek palettes. They offer foundations and concealers as well but I've not tried those yet. They're super affordable as well. Bareminerals. I will say this till the day I die. The Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lips are the best formula on the face of the planet. I also am a huge fan of their Invisible Bronzer. Exuviance. This is the brand I point you in if you want potent products that are designed to be as if you're getting the in office treatments while at home. I've been using the peptide products from the Advanced line and it's been great. They've re-branded and relaunched on the first of October I believe. Stila Cosmetics. Their glitters or "Glitter and Glow" liquid shadows are still my favorite way to do glitter. There's a lot of sets right now with them. If you aren't big on glitter they have Shimmer and Glow and now Suede Shade liquid shadows. Of course they have great eyeliners as well. They're overlooked sometimes but they're products are still amazing. That's my picks for ULTA. Check often for coupons and new markdowns or sales. Happy shopping!
